We had the absolute pleasure of spending three unforgettable days at Paolo and Monica’s 800-year-old farmhouse — and it was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The home itself is stunning: full of history, character, and comfort, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. Each morning, Paolo and Monica prepared a beautiful, fresh breakfast spread complete with homemade cakes and warm, delicious options that started our days off with so much care and joy. The hospitality was truly beyond compare — Paolo and Monica are salt-of-the-earth people with hearts of gold. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting with the many animals they lovingly care for. From eagles and owls to donkeys, horses, peacocks, ducks, and sheep — it felt like something out of a storybook. Monica’s passion for rescuing and training animals is inspiring, and added such a special, personal touch to the experience. Thier home is filled with beauty, warmth, and heart. Janet and Nicholas are exceptional hosts :) responsive and very kind, it was a pleasure to communicate with both of them. I must also add their property management company is fantastic, we had the pleasure of meeting 2 lovely gentlemen. Top service from everyone. Thank you :)) The day we arrived my first thought was ~ what an immaculate property! The outside has such stunning views of Todi and the surrounding hills, the pool and gardens are truly beautiful, you can tell everything was done with such thought and care. The gorgeous kitchen and outside wood burning grill were our favorite part! Evenings with the sun setting were truly special. Their home is exceptional. We will treasure our week long stay :)

We stayed at Paola's while we attended a wedding at the Castillo di Montignano. It was the perfect, quiet, retreat for us and our kids. The pool is amazing and is exactly what it looks like in the photos. The walk to the Castillo is uphill, but doable, maybe not in heels. The walk back down to the villa was easy and peaceful. Paola was an exceptional host that had the place ready for us and showed us around. She even sent someone to clean the pool so that it would always be pristine for us!

La casa corrisponde esattamente alle foto e alla descrizione, pulizia impeccabile sia degli spazi interni che degli spazi esterni, tutti i mobili e gli utensili nuovissimi. Inoltre vi è tutto il necessario. Debora è gentilissima, premurosa, ci ha riservato un’ottima accoglienza e ha prontamente risposto ad ogni comunicazione. La posizione è comoda per raggiungere varie località umbre in poco tempo, la casa è ubicata in un borgo molto tranquillo nel quale ad agosto organizzano simpatiche feste di paese. Ulteriore elemento di comfort è l’aria condizionata in tutte le stanze, anche se fortunatamente si sta bene anche senza perché c’è un’aria fresca e piacevole, soprattutto dopo il tramonto. Tutto perfetto, niente da eccepire.

My family and I stayed in this home for two nights during our time in Italy and it was easily the best place we booked. The home was beautiful and the view was incredible. We had some trouble when we first got there because it was dark out and the road to get up to the house was in rough shape, so if you are staying in Porzone and also renting a vehicle we suggest you rent a high clearance SUV. That being said, Matt was very responsive and was able to have the road filled in for us. Overall, we immensely appreciate the thoughtfulness and attentiveness of our hosts and their housekeeper Sarah. There was an extensive list of things to do and places to visit in the area and the house itself had all the amenities you would need/want. The nearest town Todi had beautiful sights and good food. We highly recommend staying here! We wish we were there longer than two days because it was a truly beautiful and peaceful place to stay.

Paola und William haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und alles so liebevoll vorbereitet, so wie man es für gute Freunde tun würde! Danke, dass ihr den Pool eine Woche früher geöffnet habt, wir haben das sehr genossen und waren täglich schwimmen! Welch ein Luxus, so einen großen Pool ganz für sich zu haben! Haus und Pool sind eingebettet in perfekt gepflegte Grünanlagen mit Olivenbäumen, Rosmarin, Lavendel und vielem mehr. So viele schöne Ausflüge die man machen kann, aber des Schönste war es abends auf der Terrasse zu essen, über das weite Tal hinweg zu schauen und den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Ein Traum! Danke, dass wir den Traum bei euch leben durften!

Adele is the best host we have had in our history of AirBNBing. She helped us when we got stranded, she was proactive with her communications, and extremely friendly. She is an angel, and we truly enjoyed staying at her property. The property itself was gorgeous, spacious, with stunning views, super clean, and had more than required amenities. Overall, we loved our stay and we would return to Adele 100% given another chance. THANK YOU!

La graziosa dependance di Roberta ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative e ha reso il nostro soggiorno più che confortevole. Roberta ci ha accolti due ore prima del previsto e, come fossimo persone di famiglia, ci ha fatto trovare una deliziosa torta di mele e una bottiglia di spumante per l’occasione del compleanno del mio compagno, di cui l’avevo messa al corrente al momento della prenotazione. Come se non bastasse, il frigo era pieno di yogurt di ogni tipo, latte e succo di frutta. In cucina c’erano molteplici varietà di tè, caffè sia in polvere che in cialda, biscotti e brioches, fette biscottate, varie tipologie di confetture. Roberta è stata carina, gentile, disponibile, affabile e il suo b&b la rispecchia appieno. Letto comodissimo, asciugamani profumatissimi, shampoo, bagnoschiuma, phon di una discreta potenza. Insomma, il luogo perfetto in cui alloggiare per visitare comodamente Spoleto e dintorni ma soprattutto per godersi del sano relax in una tenuta immersa nella natura.
