Monthly Rentals in Colonia María Tecún

We had a wonderful stay at Joanne’s place! It’s peaceful and tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet perfectly located to explore the nearby villages. Communication was smooth, and Joanne’s recommendations were spot on. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to feel at home. Highly recommended!

Richard was an excellent host! As I was planning my trip to Panajachel, Richard stayed in communication with me and answered all of my many questions. The apartment was sunny and comfortable, and the courtyard gardens were especially inviting. I loved that coffee was ready in the Big House every morning, and I had fun practicing Spanish with the friendly staff. Everything was close by, and It was easy to get around town by foot or by Tuc Tuc!

A beautiful place to stay, the view is truly breathtaking. Only wish we had more time here!

We loved our stay! The hosts are very communicative and helpful. Check in instructions were clear and communicated well beforehand, and if any issues came up they were sorted immediately (we ran out of gas for the stove at one point, and it was fixed and replaced within 15 minutes!). The gardener was super nice and checked in on us regularly. The views are incredible and the house is comfortable. The wifi was strong and consistent for remote work. Definitely bring things from the supermarket prior to arrival so you don't have to boat back and forth. It's an eco house, so yes there are bugs, but nothing scary or that really impacted our experience. It's a really great spot if you're looking to escape!
