Christopher, Thank you for all your kindnesses toward us. The roses & peonies were a great surprise, even though we did not experience any inconvenience from the front door hiccup. Your sterling character as a host showed through just as the beach light reflected off the antique silver objects around the salon. The turret bed was very spacious and comfortable as the linen bedcovers were a treat! The nearby fish market and shops were very convenient and your well furnished kitchen allowed for some great cuisine to dine-in. You did a wonderful preservation project on the installation of the new windows, that truly showcased the villa and the incredible beachside location. We were able to relax and enjoy the happy sounds of the children and families. Trouville is a wonderful place that we hope - someday - we are able to return with our grandchildren and children! The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. Pleasant quiet stay. Impeccable and spacious accommodation. The hosts are very available and attentive. The pool area is incredible, sheltered from the wind despite average temperatures. A kind of microclimate operates in this place. i recommend it.

Hi The property was great for the 2 of us and as with us was ideal for motorcycles as it has underground secure parking with a lift opposite straight up to the apartment . 15-20 minute walk along the sea front into Cabourg . I would have liked normal beds but the fold down couches were also ok . I would stay there again .

A fantastic base for a Normandy adventure. It’s situated on a quiet lane on the edge of town neighbouring some picturesque older properties [this did however mean a 20 minute walk to the shops] The property itself appeared to be a newish build with the usual amenities and was adequate for our needs [we took and used our own kettle] a nice touch was the shutters on all windows and doors rendering it both secure and with the ability to block out daylight when inside if needed. We squeezed our VW Transporter onto the driveway no problem. We would definitely consider staying again

Comfortable accommodation with a very pleasant sea view, we had a very pleasant short stay with everything available on foot nearby, bakery, fishmonger, restaurants etc. We will definitely come back ☺️

The place was in an ideal base for the D-Day celebrations for us just 3 minutes walk from the beach. There was a nice restaurant at the end of the street too. Although, we did not find any others or shops in the local area. Some local information for such would help. We found the comfortable but, the pillows lumpy. There is everything in the kitchen required but, the bottle opener was broken but, this was not an issue.

This place is perfect stay, when you want to visit sword beach, and just have peacefull holiday, near the Normandy coast, she was really nice and helpful and responded in few minutes 🙏 thank you for this place to stay

We stayed here recently with our 3 boys. The house was great. The location was perfect, right beside the beach, such a beautiful spot!

Everything was perfect and perfectly organized by Florence. Thank you for that :-) Communication went smoothly. I would like to point out 2 small things, but they do not lead to a deduction of stars, because I felt incredibly comfortable and would have liked to have stayed longer. I haven't found a place to store the clothes. I also thought it was a shame that I couldn't park in the residence parking lot. I understood that a private parking space was available. Thank you so much for the welcome gift!! I enjoyed the delicious cider in the evening on the magnificent terrace :-)

After driving from Norway, we were thrilled to arrive at Laura's place in Bernières-sur-Mer, a perfect base for exploring Normandy. Laura's communication was responsive, helpful, and welcoming. The apartment was spotless. We particularly appreciated the comfortable beds. The practical details were spot-on. There's private parking behind a small gate, eliminating any street parking worries. A large Intermarché is conveniently next door for French goodies, and an EV charging station is right by the house (the closest Supercharger is in Caen, about 20 minutes away). Perhaps the most charming surprise was the neighborhood itself. Bernières-sur-Mer has that magical small-town French atmosphere where evening strolls turn into impromptu greeting sessions with locals calling "Bonsoir!". And when night falls? It's blissfully quiet. Whether you're planning D-Day beach visits, or simply soaking up authentic, Norman life, Laura's place it the perfect choice. Highly recommended!
