Beachfront vacation rentals in Coldingham Bay

Lovely one night stay at Weavers Cottage. Stay was exactly as described and it being right on the beach was great for us as we visited with our dog, who enjoyed the early morning walk in particular. Peaceful location and all amenities as described. Nice touch that we had milk from Caron for a brew when we arrived. Good instructions were given from Caron and the cottage was lovely, warm and cosy inside. Should we ever be in that neck of the woods we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Another great stay here. This is the second time we have stayed here and will be the place we will continually book when we visit family. Clean and tidy. Minutes from the beach. Can't wait to return.

What a fabulous little house! So cosy with beautiful views and a great cafe just across from it. Lovely walks over the cliffs - we saw dolphins and seals - amazing. Shame there’s not a pub in St Abs but we walked into Coldingham along the cliff path for a drink - we came back the same way as there isn’t a pavement on the road back but if you take torches the cliff path was okay - barely needed the torches as the moon was so bright. We will definitely be back again.

We travelled from Fife to Debbie's place. The caravan was easy to get access in to. It was very clean and fresh in all rooms. Great facilities in kitchen. Even on 2nd row we had fantastic view if the sea. Handy to walk into the village for pubs, restaurants and shop. Even a great bus service to go into Newcastle. Will be back again.

Fantastic 4 days away at The Snug, the caravan was spacious, well laid out and had everything we could need, I normally find there are very few pots/pans/utensils/crockery but there were plenty and the added extras such as oil and salt and pepper were welcome. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The location is perfect with a very short walk to play park and Main Street and the beach. The views of the sea and the church are stunning. You know you’ve found a good place when you’re looking at availability for your next stay whilst still there! Thank you Tom for your kind messages and hospitality

Enjoyed a great short stay at Harbour’s Edge. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed as a family of 4. We loved the central location and the view out the front was spectacular. Would highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely beautiful stay, the host was able to accommodate an early check in for us and was extremely kind in messaging when dolphins were in the area - which we were able to see! The views are stunning and everything is exactly as described. We absolutely loved are time and already trying to find a slot to come back - but it’s already all booked up :)

Had a wonderful stay here. Lovely location and we were lucky enough to get good weather ☀️ Apartment had everything we needed. Good parking outside the front door and we used the number 95 bus to get to other towns along the coast which was easy to do. I would recommend a stay at this apartment.

Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

We really enjoyed our trip to Northumberland and staying in Linda's caravan. The caravan is spotless and had everything we needed. Lovely and cosy and a great space to relax. Linda is very helpful and thoughtful leaving little treats for our children- thank you. The local area is beautiful with lots of castles and beaches to explore. Would definitely stay again as we have more exploring to do in the Summer! Thankyou x

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely caravan. It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and felt really cosy and welcoming. Everything was just as described, and we had a great time relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Would happily return thank you for a lovely break!

Fabulous holiday. Location is great as its a few minutes walk to the beach and bus stop to Edinburgh. David kindly left biscuits, tea and coffee and there was everything needed for cooking and also to maintain cleaning if felt the need. Everything was thought about so you didn't have too. Lovely and clean cabin. David was very responsive if needed. Access to the cabin was easy as keys were left in a key safe by the front door. Only negative was a constant drip from the sink tap. We resolved this mostly by leaving the plug in at night. Didn't impact our holiday. A previous review mentioned about play passes to access the swimming pool and Haven entertainment unfortunately to access these we needed to pay £58 per adult and £30 something for the kids each. We felt it wasn't worth the money. We went to a leisure pool 30 mins away in Dunbar which was great and had a fabulous wave pool. We're very happy to have chosen this place. I'm sure you will be to.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

Maggie is an amazing host. We arrived to find groceries already waiting for us and a belated birthday gift for myself. Communication was easy and fast. Kids loved the bonus of the play station and the two ride-on bikes. Easy to catch bus 26 from just outside the park to go into Edinburgh. We loved that the location of the van was close enough to everything of the park but still in a quiet section.

Very cosy home. Plenty of room, very comfortable sofas and bed. Lovely touch of fresh bread, croissants, milk and fruit. Instructions for TV etc were very clear and recommendations of where to eat were very helpful. The house was very near the beach area and also the Metro to Newcastle. We would definitely recommend this home for anyone visiting the area.

Seahouses is an attractive destination and this apartment looking out to sea is excellent. Well located, very well equipped, spotlessly clean and the communication from Chris the best I have come across. Would certainly visit again.

One of our favourite properties we have ever stayed in from Air B and B. The lodge was very cosy with beautiful views particularly from the kitchen and sitting room, of the sea on one side and open fields on other. Great location also- just yards outside was the door was the choice of beautiful cliff walk or Coldingham Sands beach. Kitchen is also very well equipped, although due to the position of the lighting was a little dark when it trying to preparing food as you end blocking the light with your back. Bed and sofa very comfy! Only difficulty was that we struggled to work the shower in bedroom but we’re able to use the one over the bath in the main bathroom so wasn’t really a problem Would love to visit again and will be recommending to others!

This was a truly wonderful place to stay. Felt like home as every little detail had been thought about and was really cosy. It was perfect for the 6 of us. Great location right next to the sea with wonderful sunrises strolling along the beach. Beautifully decorated and well kept accomodation. Close to some fabulous attractions. We enjoyed Woodhorn Colliery museum, saw dolphins at Newbiggin as the sun set, a fantastic boat trip to the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne from Seahouses, Warkworth Castle and beach, and a stop in Amble. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts who kept in good communication throughout and were really helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this place to others looking for a base to explore Northumberland and all it has to offer.

We can only say extremely positive comments about Amanda and Seas the Day. The house was a home from home, we settled instantly. Everything you could want was provided and kitchen appliances were straight forward to use. The house was immaculate and well cared for. The area was quiet and in a good location for visiting local beaches and castles.We were blessed with sunshine which made every trip out, beautiful. We stayed at Mar House for a holiday with our children and grandchildren. The instructions before arrival were timeous and clear. The house had been decorated to a high standard and was accurately reflected in the photos. We were delighted to find the requested high chair and travel cot for our wee ones. The house more than met our needs and we appreciated the milk, juice and shortbread left as a welcome gift. The Tunnock’s tea cakes on the beds were a big win 😊 The house was a 15 min walk into town. We definitely recommend and would love to stay again.
