The garden is abundant in wildlife throughout the year, and has a lovely terrace to sit out on with comfortable outdoor seating. The Pines Treehouse is nestled underneath a huge oak tree sitting high above the running water of Sand Beck. Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. A great effort has gone into creating this space to allow you to simply relax and reset in nature.

Dive into the history of this unique and memorable place. A beautifully renovated, original 16th Century barn is the perfect place to relax. You can snuggle up in front of the wood burning stove after a day of exploring the local countryside and towns. The barn is located perfectly for a visit to the Lakes. Ullswater and Pooley Bridge are only a 30 minute drive away. Equally the Yorkshire Dales and the highest pub in the UK; Tan Hill Inn are also accessible from the barn.

Crown Cottage

End terraced, 1 bedroom cottage situated in the centre of Appleby (1 minute walk from the Crown & Cushion and the market square) consisting of a lounge/diner and fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven & microwave. Upstairs there is one good size bedroom (with the choice of king or twin beds) with its own walk in wardrobe & flat screen TV, a superb large double shower room with underfloor heating. We accept a max of 1 well-behaved dog when pre-booked.
