An extremely responsive, pleasant, friendly host. The apartment is impeccable: clean, very beautiful design, enough space for our family without stepping on each other and perfectly matches the listing. I would recommend it without a second thought!

We stayed 3 nights in the chalet. Marlène welcomed us very well, the instructions given for check-in were very clear. The cottage is very cozy and well decorated. The views are beautiful and the setting is peaceful. It feels like home. Throughout the stay, Marlene remained available and was very responsive. A stay we're not about to forget.

A great stay in a beautiful region, beautiful views of both the massif des Bauges and the massif de la Lauzière. It is a very nice house and everything you need is also present. In the photos, it looked like you would have a lot of privacy from passers-by, but that is certainly not the case! We also got good tips for hiking, and Laurent's cafe is also very nice to take a break while cycling or hiking. We will be happy to come back again!

Chalet on the slopes of Les Arcs

RosieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We could not have asked for a more amazing three weeks. The chalet is in an exceptional location on the hillside above Arc 1600. The views on all sides are breathtaking - sunsets and sunrises, Mont Blanc, the Tarentaise Valley. The morning birdsong is deafening. You're pretty undisturbed up there - the occasional skier passing or parapenter taking off or snow-shoer wandering by. The chalet itself is beautiful, well-furnished and well-equipped and the huge terrace has sun all day on sunny days. Laurent is an excellent host. It is accessible either by skidoo (on arrival with luggage); a chairlift then T-bar on skis (quite easy with groceries from a visit to the shop in 1600) or, if the drag isn't running, it's an easy 250m walk up from the chairlift. (The walk down to the village takes around fifteen minutes but longer in deep snow, the walk up from the village could be done by brisk walkers in twenty five minutes but it is uphill all the way).

Chalet Callisto (5*) – Breathtaking View – Full South

We had the "best" stay at Cécile and Laurent’s chalet in Manigod. We've stayed in many places over the years and this is by far one of the best. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed—Laurent and Cécile greeted us with such kindness, thoughtful touches throughout the home, and local tips that made all the difference. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, blending cozy alpine charm with modern comfort, and the views from the balcony were honestly breathtaking—the kind that make you pause and take it all in. Everything was spotless and well-equipped. Our children had plenty of room to play and unwind, and we loved enjoying slow mornings with fresh coffee as the mountains lit up. The location is ideal—close to Annecy and La Clusaz, but tucked just far enough into the hills to feel like a true escape. Cécile and Laurent are exceptional hosts and really take a personal interest in hosting us. They are great people! We can't wait to come back!
