Even better than pictured! Beautiful views, tasteful decor, and a great surprise of a whole lounge area in the room. This is where I worked remotely during the afternoons and the WiFi was fast enough for my video calls. The staff was super helpful and friendly! The walkability to the botanical garden and town was excellent, or if raining, an easy €2 Uber. Some things to consider are that the tub/shower could be challenging to get out of since the door is located at the sloping end of the tub. Also, if there is a big storm during your stay, you’ll want to bring earplugs as the historic French doors will clang loudly in heavy winds.

We had a very wonderful stay! Isabel and Ema were very kind and more than helpful. We had nice conversations. The 'breakfastman' was friendly. The room very comfortable and the former studenthouse a piece of history. We could walk to the old city and university.

Great location and everything in excellent condition. Very flexible, attentive and available host. We loved our stay and would recommend it.

It was an old building, and there was a little noise as instructed in advance, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I was able to eat the food I packed on the terrace and had breakfast. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but each and every one was delicious. It can be uncomfortable if you have a lot of luggage because there is no elevator, but it was a cozy accommodation with its own atmosphere. There is a daycare center across the street and the neighborhood is quiet and nice. I had a good rest!

We found the price very successful in terms of performance, we had a pleasant stay. We would definitely recommend it because it is very close to the beach and close to places that are very convenient for walking.

Beautiful, modern and very well-maintained accommodation. We found the quiet location in a small village to be very relaxing, great beaches and the place Praia de Mira can be reached quickly by car.

Good host

The farm is wonderful and has everything we need. The communal kitchen is an extra spectacular and super well equipped and always clean. but for me the best of all is the staff. We were greeted with open arms with a huge smile by people who know the meaning of "welcome" and extremely good professionals. A great good hajam and a big hug from all of us. I hope we have the possibility to see each other again.

Great lovely place!

Leonardo was super attentive. The space is clean and tidy. The location is difficult and the information in the observations does not help to find the location, the access road is very difficult, as there are many holes and stones, if the car is very loaded or the car is low, cannot reach the site and the road has a passage to only one vehicle at a time, if you have a car coming in the opposite hand you will have to reverse and the maneuver is almost impossible. Outside this detail everything is perfect. Thank you

Had a wonderful 4-day stay. Linda was friendly and helpful but also respectful of my private space. She lent me maps and field guides and provided an abundance of information on local and regional activities relevant to my interests. The house and my room (Tara) was bright, comfortable and delightfully decorated with an abundance of Linda’s unique nature themed art. The forest was visible right outside my window and veranda and a babbling brook flowed just beyond her beautiful garden below. The small village of Luso was a 15-minute walk up the mountain where I found plenty of restaurants, shops, a lovely park and lake and mineral-fed community fountain (the water is divine!). The famous Bussaco National Forest was easily accessed another 10-15 minutes walk further up the hill. This was just the quiet art-nature retreat I needed after several weeks in the hustle and bustle of Lisbon and Coimbra. I highly recommend Quinta de Azul and will definitely come again!

Linda’s place felt like home. It was as quiet and cozy. She and her dear cat were good company when we wanted to chat, yet we also enjoyed our privacy. She shared a map of the Luso-Bussaco National Forest along with some insider tips about enjoying our hike there!

Very nice and cozy place, well advertised. The bed was so comfortable, we had a restful night. We had a very late check in, but the host was very responsive and the check in went smoothly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, thanks a lot!

A really lovely spot, immaculately cared for. The hosts have done a beautiful job on the accommodation and services here. From the first moment they were attentive to our needs, and thoughtful about so many details. Any concerns or special requests were addressed promptly, making for a smooth and pleasant stay. Yummy breakfast! It feels like a little taste of luxury at a very good price. We stayed in the room with two twin beds - with windows closed it is very quiet, great soundproofing, and no sound from neighbouring rooms either. During the day if you open the windows the road outside is a bit loud, but it's a small town so there isn't too much traffic. It appears that most of the other rooms face inwards towards the pool/courtyard so this wouldn't be an issue at all. Thank you Jasmine team for a fantastic stay!
