Even better than pictured! Beautiful views, tasteful decor, and a great surprise of a whole lounge area in the room. This is where I worked remotely during the afternoons and the WiFi was fast enough for my video calls. The staff was super helpful and friendly! The walkability to the botanical garden and town was excellent, or if raining, an easy €2 Uber. Some things to consider are that the tub/shower could be challenging to get out of since the door is located at the sloping end of the tub. Also, if there is a big storm during your stay, you’ll want to bring earplugs as the historic French doors will clang loudly in heavy winds.

Great location and everything in excellent condition. Very flexible, attentive and available host. We loved our stay and would recommend it.

It was an old building, and there was a little noise as instructed in advance, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I was able to eat the food I packed on the terrace and had breakfast. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but each and every one was delicious. It can be uncomfortable if you have a lot of luggage because there is no elevator, but it was a cozy accommodation with its own atmosphere. There is a daycare center across the street and the neighborhood is quiet and nice. I had a good rest!

Great value, clean, close to the beach and a nice café, and they were responsive. We came kind of off season so there were very few guests. Would recommend!

We stayed in the family suite, which is a very nice, very clean, bright room with clean decor. The bedding is extremely good. The garden and pool are very well maintained and very pleasant. Full breakfast and very good. We had a lovely two nights.

The facilities were brand new, the room was a decent size, and the location was convenient and easy to find. There was plenty of parking space, the host was very friendly and responsive, and overall it was great value for the money.

Very Nice hotel and helpfull host. We got to change our room after we checked in to a more quiet room. We used the sauna wich was great, and Carla that gave us a massage was the nicest person ever.

We had a great stay at this lovely finca, peaceful and relaxing. The road into the property is a bit rough but if you take it slow it's fine (even in our compact car), and the warm welcome we received when we arrived made it worth it. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We hope to return some day!

We totally recommend!! We only stayed for one night but it was so nice! Really enjoyed the quiet location and the small village surrounded by nature. The property is so well taken care of and everything is very new and in perfect condition! Really recommend to stay here!

Had a wonderful 4-day stay. Linda was friendly and helpful but also respectful of my private space. She lent me maps and field guides and provided an abundance of information on local and regional activities relevant to my interests. The house and my room (Tara) was bright, comfortable and delightfully decorated with an abundance of Linda’s unique nature themed art. The forest was visible right outside my window and veranda and a babbling brook flowed just beyond her beautiful garden below. The small village of Luso was a 15-minute walk up the mountain where I found plenty of restaurants, shops, a lovely park and lake and mineral-fed community fountain (the water is divine!). The famous Bussaco National Forest was easily accessed another 10-15 minutes walk further up the hill. This was just the quiet art-nature retreat I needed after several weeks in the hustle and bustle of Lisbon and Coimbra. I highly recommend Quinta de Azul and will definitely come again!

We liked the pool! There is breakfast included in the morning from 8:30-9:30. hair dryer was not listed but is part of every room! Special thanks to the lady who prepared breakfast.

Lindas place was second to none. A beautiful home to explore Luso from. No doubt the hospitality was the highlight though. Linda showed us Luso and more. So much advice, a beautiful cat and great tips and conversations. Can’t wait to be back.
