Lily Yurt - AZ Nordic Village - Off-Grid Stay

JeriRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a blast staying in the yurts! It was super cozy with the wood burning stove and overall a great experience. We unfortunately missed the snow this season but we were still able to hike all the trails. It was absolutely beautiful and peaceful being out there. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Very peaceful serene atmosphere here. With only 4 cabins and 3 yurts on site, it made for a nice pleasant experience with the grandchildren for playing and hiking on the trails. Extremely friendly staff.

Berghütte Flagstaff

AlexandroRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The house was very nice and it had a wooden furnace, which was a nice and unique touch. The area around it was calm, quiet, and beautiful, and the backyard is great for stargazing if you wish. There was a problem with the washer, but it was resolved, so great communication on their part too.

Sage Yurt - AZ Nordic Village - Off-Grid Stay

JamesRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Enjoyed our stay - lovely camping vibes, we stayed in one of the yurts. Plenty of space, not very busy (May might be the off-season) and lovely tranquil pine forest all around. The amenities were like water, shower, kitchen, wifi were at the main lodge. Yurt was chilly at night - so pack warm sleeping bag/PJs/blankets.

Hogan 1 Glamping at Shash Dine'

CarolineRating, 5 stars7 months ago
A beautiful and unique experience! The Hogan was exactly as described and pictured. We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the beds are, and plenty of warm, cozy blankets are provided. I would recommend each member of the group having a headlamp or flashlight; being off grid the property is extremely dark at night and having a headlamp while outside was very helpful. Some solar lanterns are provided but we found the extra light beneficial. The property is gorgeous and extremely peaceful; the sunrise/sunset and night sky are all incredible. The amenities are all as described, the showers were extremely clean and easy to use.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our tent was very spacious, and we were able to stay warm despite wind and 30° weather. You really can’t beat the view that you have either! We were able to take some fantastic photos of the night sky.

Glamping: Grand Canyon Magnificent Mahal Yurt

MeganRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Overall we were happy with our stay at the yurt. We were particularly happy with the proximity to the Grand Canyon, but with that came quite the drive on rough dirt roads, the hosts had clear directions to follow but it was definitely rough country driving, very doable and we enjoyed the adventure. We were worried we might have to bring more layers since it got quite cool outside yurt but we didn't need to start the heaters, or have extra layers, the quilts were quite warm. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked enough for simple meals. The yurt is definitely more of a camping/tent situation than a fully functioning home, which matches the hosts description, just something to remember. Nothing beats the quiet, stars and ability to have a campfire at night though.

Custom Yurt in the Pines

LukeRating, 5 stars6 days ago
My wife and I stayed in the yurt for two nights. We truly wish we had stayed there longer. The yurt was beautiful, large, spacious and was so much better than a hotel. The place is very unique and comfortable. It was well stocked with everything we needed and more! Lacey gave clear instructions to get to the property and collect keys. It is set in a beautiful rural location. We would love to return to the yurt when we visit Flagstaff next. Thank you so much for being a great host and making our stay comfortable and special.

The Clizzie Hogan

What a special place to stay. The stars were breathtaking, the history of The Navajo is rich and interesting, we loved the literature in the hogan, Leora was kind and welcoming, and the hogan itself was beautiful. Highly recommend staying here and would return!

Highly recommend this specific stay! Just the location alone is an experience and with Richardson’s family hospitality it is something special! From the tour by Richardson to his mom providing a traditional Navajo breakfast it was a very special stay for both my son and I!

Very cool place and experience. Only warning is to definitely stay ahead of temperature/climate bc its a Yurt. Start AC sooner than think, stop it in evening bc ambient temp will get it even cooler.

Antelope Canyon Hogan (2 Slot Canyon Tour)

TeresaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
There really are no words to describe how incredible this Airbnb and tour with Richardson is! Richardson is a kind and generous host who rearranged plans when I had a medical mishap. He was quick to answer any questions. He is knowledgeable and forthcoming with his wisdom. He takes absolutely incredible photos. The private tour of the Antelope Canyons is breathtaking. The stay in the Hogan was very comfortable and the traditional Navajo breakfast was delicious. The colours were rich since we visited in the fall/winter!! If you are reading this, book now!!
