Great place in the Smokey Mountains out of the hustle and bustle of Gaitlinburg. Awesome hiking close by. Had everything we needed for a relaxing couple days.

Rustic Mountain Retreat Cabin

AngelaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great tiny home up in the mountains. Lots of privacy, kept very clean. Great view, especially when the mountains got all smokey. The only thing would be if you're a tall guy just know you're going to have a hard time with the shower, it is a tiny home, so kind of expected. 🤣 The Host was great about communicating, and responded in short amounts of time as needed.

Log Cabin on Edge of Great Smoky Mnts Nat'l Park

LarryRating, 5 stars70 months ago
Patty's Three Little Birds cabin is a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin was very clean, very well equipped, beautiful and rustic yet elegant! We loved the quiet, but convenient location. Our family loved our week there, and I could highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay.

It was a beautiful place, the only thing is that very little water comes out of the shower and it needs a little more cleaning

Mountain Cabin & Restored Barn

EdricRating, 5 stars1 month ago
10/10! What an experience! This property is nothing like you ever experienced, unless you grew up on a farm 50 years ago. This property is not for the lazy, bougie or open-minded. If you want to experience nature, peace and bit of glamping then book “the egg” for an extended weekend. No noise or light pollution. The rushing creek sounds amazing 24/7. There are fascinating finds around every corner including the challenging corners you must drive to get here. Solar power run everything. The wifi worked great and the shower was always hot. Asheville is less than an hour away. Don is a wonderful host and answered any questions we had throughout the stay!

Momma Bear Cabin w/ secluded site

JacobRating, 5 stars20 months ago
Not a bad deal for the price. Cabin is not insulated and get's cold at night. I'd recommend a few blankets or sleeping bag in the colder months which I believe she recommended. You need to meet with the owner at check in where she goes over rules etc. She also drove by to caution us about the campfire in the presence of winds. Overall, I felt the property was well worth the price.

Mtn. Roots Cabin in the Foothills from the Smokies

Tammy Jean was very responsive and respectful. Communication was quick and helpful from some small things to helping navigate a closed road. I would recommend this place to stay and very friendly to talk to.

Bambi cabin with secluded site

BrandeyRating, 5 stars12 months ago
This was our third year staying. We love the area! Be aware these are simple cabins and should be expected as such. They do not have electricity, but each has comfortable beds, fire pits, and provides shelter from the animals and elements. We had plenty of room to spread out and socialize around the fire. We also hang hammocks and enjoy exploring the woods around the cabins. Depending on the time of year you go (we have been at the start and end of summer), you will find numerous types of mushroom, bugs, and animals. We enjoyed it so much the first year, we now refer to this as vacation home base. We didn't see any bears this year (only heard), but we have seen them in the past years. Communication was great (both prior to check-in and throughout our stay). Highly recommend. Be sure to look for the fairy doors throughout the property!

Mountain Meadow Glamping Cabin Paint Rock Farm #8

GraysonRating, 5 stars12 months ago
This was our second time at Paint Rock Farms, and it certainly did not disappoint! We enjoyed the breathtaking views of each sunrise and sunset, the lovely walking trails (now marked with signs which is awesome), and the quiet serenity of the entire property. Hot Springs is a small but surprisingly bustling town only 9 minutes away with a few great restaurants and shops that we enjoyed as well. We will absolutely come back sometime in the (hopefully) near future!

River Perch Glamping at Paint Rock Farm #6

MelanieRating, 5 stars13 months ago
This will be my 3rd trip & each time I'm ready for another. PRF Is located 10 minutes from Hot Springs, NC on top of a mountain. The old tobacco barn has been lovingly restored to accommodate a rustic, clean, well equipped shared space for guest use. A barn? but there are appliances, hot water, a kitchen sink & propane range. Everything needed to prepare a meal, coffee, tea and stowe perishables. The structure is seasonal, but absolutely gorgeous! Lighting, fans, tables, new flooring all ready for a Barn Wedding or a modern day glamper. The cliff's edge cabins are delightful, partially screened & private to capture natures views and offer a true camping experience. fresh air, & no electricity (solar lanterns). The best sleep you will ever have with the mystical sound of the river, haunting noise of the train, & the Chuck Wills. Trust me, you must experience this place if you love the small mountain town feel, the sound of the French Broad River & Glamping.

Dogwood Cabin. Perfect couple get away.

AvaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This cabin was in a beautiful and rustic location, we were checked in by Rhonda’s mom, Roberta who was very friendly. Roads were gravel so all-wheel drive is helpful to reach the campground. Cabin is simplistic as described but it is exactly what we needed on our budget friendly road trip.

The house was spacious and clean. Loved the views!!! Access to kayaks and paddle boards was a plus!!! The infinity pool was beautiful! We rented a boat and parked right at the dock. It was a wonderful weekend!! Can’t wait to go back Only thing to mention is the doors were a little finicky to lock, but they do lock

The Lodge

KristyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great week at this lovely cabin! There was plenty of room for multiple families. I love that each couple had a large room and king-sized bed. This cabin had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the beautiful view. The kids loved running around on all of the decks! It did take a bit to get used to the water. We could tell that it was filtered well but there was a bit of a smell to it. Not a big problem but just bring filtered water.

Live, Laugh, Love Pool Lodge

JamieRating, 5 stars33 months ago
My family and I really enjoyed the cabin so much to do in there that the kids loved it. Wish the pool temperature was a little warmer and the theater room was nice but I think there was an internet issue it kept cutting in and out when we tried to watch a movie but other than that we had no other complaints it was amazing we didn’t want to leave it was so nice and fun ! Thank u for an amazing vacation home for my family!

Riverside camping cabin #1

ToniRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We booked this trip on a whim. It was everything we needed to refuel our energy to a serene spirit. This is where you need to getaway to for the weekend. We would stay for a week or maybe longer if we had the time. What I find amazing is the fact it’s off of interstate 40, but I didn’t hear a single commotion because you get lost in the beauty of the camp along the peaceful Pigeon River. It’s everything you see in the photos you just need to be there and experience it for yourself. This is a gem. We will definitely make our way up here soon. Thank you Denise for the guidance and your prompt response.

Riverside camping cabin #2

MichaelRating, 5 stars32 months ago
A perfect place if you're looking to camp without the tent. Very nice river, super clean and comfortable showers and bathroom and very cozy cabin. Be advised that as beautiful and amazing as this place it, it is right down the bluff from a highway, so you definitely catch traffic noise with some regularity.
