Peace, peace, perfect peace, an absolute gem of a place with a big sea view next to Wemyss castle. Two bedroom, rustic flat overlooking the sea. Wood burning stove. Seconds from the beach. Coastal and woodland walks abound. Very quiet village with a lovely cafe, community pub and heritage centre. Due to its quiet nature there is abundant wildlife, seals, seabirds and deer. The Kingdom of Fife is an eclectic and friendly patchwork of life and land, with a huge heart at its core.

Lots of local walks including the pilgrims way. 7 mins walk to train station with links to Edinburgh, Dundee and Perth all 30 mins away so great location.

It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has fantastic food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Secret Orchard is a self-contained apartment. Matt (your host) lives above. Built around 1685 it has many historic features. It has been home to three famous artists from 1848 to 1920. It sits within a large walled garden which has an orchard, cute hens, two ponds, a large trampoline and a sun-trap patio. Two minutes from the Fife Coastal Path and beach and a large park to cycle around. Dysart Harbour featured on Outlander and is very historic.
