Gap Retreat

AmberRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Clare and her partner Paul were great hosts! The house has a few nuances, being a somewhat older house, and upon check in Paul arrived to walk us through things. He was super helpful with recommendations as well about hidden gems to add to our plans based on where we were off to. Kind people, very responsive hosts, and a very large house. We got our multi family travel party of 15 with ease and had plenty of room to spare.

Slieve Gullion Valley View

MaryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Slieve Gullion View property. We had travelled as a family of 7 (2 adults and 5 children) and had plenty of room and felt very comfortable and right at home in the house. The TV’s in all bedrooms were a real treat for the children as were the lovely cows there to greet us each morning at breakfast. The large family bathroom with bath tub and separate hose for hair washing was perfect for the little ones and something you don’t find in many hotels. Very close to many forest walks and amenities and an ideal spot for us visit family and friends who live in the surrounding areas. Aine was a fabulous host and very responsive when I needed her help with supplying a new clothes horse and replacement iron - nothing was too much trouble! We would return in the future without hesitation! Thank you!

Glenview Shepherds Hut nestled in the Gortin Glens

SophieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
A beautiful stay in the shepherds hut, the scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed a lovely barbecue outside which the host provided a gas barbecue. You have your own private stretch of garden to sit out at and plenty of privacy. The hut was immaculate. The extra touches and attention to detail makes it so homely. Gortin was a lovely town a 2 minute drive from the hut aswell and has a few pubs we enjoyed meeting the locals in. The host was great with communication and replied very quickly to messages and made us aware that if we needed anything just to ask her. If I could have stayed longer I would have it was so peaceful and the perfect getaway. We will back 100%.
