St. Michael's House

A really nice little cottage tucked away between the lake and the mountains. Extremely clean and Hilda, the owner, makes sure it stays like that. Cosy beds, a nice fireplace outside and a wood stove inside make also for a perfect holiday. Thank you

Frank's cottage (double room & light breakfast!)

MatthiasRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We would love to give 6 out of 5 stars. Linda is an emphatic host and helps with everything you need, incl. Tips for the area. You feel welcome and feel at home. The accommodation and interior are functionally thought out (including a great shower!) and we felt as comfortable as we could wish. Thank you Linda, it was wonderful and it was a pity that it was only two nights that we could spend with you. We highly recommend both the host and the accommodation.

Cottage Kilbeg Upper Clonbur

Katie’s beautiful house is located between Lough Mask and Lough Corrib. The views from the house and garden are amazing… with fabulous outdoor spaces to enjoy . The house has everything you would need for a family weekend away. I stayed with my parents (70s) and my daughter (2) and they enjoyed it just as much as me. So much to do within a very short drive… climbed Mount Gable, spent time with family in Clonbur/ Cong, out on Lough corrib and enjoyed time in the house too. Thank you to Katie for a super easy check in and out. Would recommend to anyone who loves the outdoors, views and rural life.

When we arrived, we were amazed by the beauty of the place. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Leanne was a wonderful host and kindly left for us ample breakfast provisions. I highly recommend this for all looking to spend time in beautiful Connemara.

Cong Majestic View

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The apartment was in a quiet and beautiful location. It wasn't far from Cong. I did not try to walk to town though. If I had been by myself or with my husband (I was with my father) I would have tried to walk into town instead of driving. The place was a bit difficult to find, but Kathy sent me the exact coordinates. That helped with a better navigation! Kathy has a lovely garden that you can look over from the apartment window. I would gladly stay here again!
A medieval stone tower is shown against a blue sky, surrounded by lush green grass. A smaller round structure is visible to the left of the tower, adding historical context. Trees are present in the background, framing the scene and enhancing the natural landscape.

Our stay at Caherduff was absolutely wonderful, the accomodation was 5 star, with everything we could have wanted, plus lovely homemade scones waiting for us on arrival, very welcome. Jennifer was most helpful, and checked in on us during our stay, to make sure we were ok. Would definitely recommend a stay here. A beautiful place in a great location.
