After leaving corporate law practice in San Diego I decided to travel the country for a few months before starting a new project in NY. DC has been on my list to visit for some time and I decided to spend 5 weeks at Jo's place. It's a perfect choice for a sophisticated traveler who appreciates professionally managed, classy places but is looking for a warmer ambiance. The apartment is beautifully decorated and stocked with pretty much everything you would need for a stay. I cooked most nights and very much appreciated modern appliances and availability of all the necessary cooking utencils. The location is in a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes from a large park, which is very well maintained and is a great place to exercise or just walk around. If you're into more forest-like experience, across the street from the park is a gorgeous forest area with camping grounds and tons of trails. There is always plenty of parking right next to the house and I had no concerns with parking my car on the street overnight. As far as proximity to DC area, you're just a short drive from the metro station that would take you anywhere you need to go. There is easy access to all the highways if you are driving somewhere. Jo is a warm and considerate host who has been very responsive and helpful. It's been a wonderful experience overall and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We felt at home the moment we arrived at this stylish guest apartment just outside of DC. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, yet still close to everything. It took less than 30 minutes to reach downtown, and we loved being just a short drive from great dining and views at National Harbor. The space is spotless, modern, and cozy. With multiple TVs, fast Wi-Fi, and a layout that gave our small family room to relax, it was the perfect place to unwind after a day out. Everything was clean, easy to use, and thoughtfully arranged. What really made the experience stand out was the host’s care and attention. Knowing we were traveling with our young child, he stocked the fridge with snacks and drinks just for her. That personal touch went a long way. We’d absolutely stay here again, whether for a family trip or business. Highly recommended.

The neighborhood was safe, and I felt comfortable walking around at any time of day. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again.
