Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Clinton County

This is the second time we have stayed in this home. When we found out our basketball tournament was in State College again, the kids requested we book the same place as last time. It’s the perfect spot for our kids and their friends!

If you are looking for a cozy and comfortable getaway, this is the place for you. It felt like a home away from home to us. This was our second stay at this house and would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends. Zetta was very helpful and always available whenever we needed anything. The house is spotless and we'll appointed. Even our pup enjoyed her stay.

We stayed at Brett’s cabin in Moshannon for a wedding in nearby Philipsburg, and honestly… we wish we had booked more time. The place was perfect — peaceful, cozy, and just the right mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. It was the ideal home base for us, our family, and our two dogs (who were very into exploring the woods around the property). Brett was the kind of host you hope for — super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to have us there. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, which made the whole weekend stress-free and way more enjoyable. One of our favorite parts of the cabin was the screened-in porch. It was the perfect spot to relax with a morning coffee or unwind at night, listening to the sounds of the forest without worrying about bugs. We spent a lot of time out there just catching up and soaking it all in. This spot is a no-brainer. Hopefully, we can return for longer one day!

We had a great stay for my son’s graduation weekend from Penn State. House was clean and was more than enough space for us. Had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again Thank you!!

This is our third stay at Chris’ place for our annual fishing trip with my two boys. As always, his place on Pine Creek does not dissapoint. It’s exactly as described which is outstanding. We stayed at the farmhouse overnight after attending Lock Haven's graduate school graduation with friends and family. It was wonderful! So nice to be able to spend time together in such a lovely space. Also were able to use the fire pit for smores:) Their barn cat was very friendly and kept us company as well. We reserved one night here and then a few of us needed to stay closer to Bucknell for their graduation the next night. As we had two hosts messaging us for the stays it did give us a comparison for what to expect. It did take some time to get information initially about the property after we had paid, but after we arrived messaging was very prompt. The only other thing to note is that we aren't sure if the air conditioner was working. We adjusted the knobs, but several rooms were very warm on the second floor, and those rooms did not have fans. Otherwise, we completely fell in love with the space and would book again. Everyone there enjoyed their time. Thanks for hosting!

Very clean comfortable house with plenty of room in an outstanding location and incredible surroundings. Fire pit is very nice , 2 covered decks , plenty of easy parking Many many games for entertainment inside and outside

We booked this cabin for a bachelorette trip with 13 guests, and we have no regrets! Communication was excellent, everyone was comfortable (very comfortable beds and couches, good bathrooms for a large group), and the accommodations were great (campfire, hot tub, and TV alongside plenty of towels, bedding, and travel soaps). The dining table and living room are perfect for large groups. It’s deep enough in the woods to feel secluded while also close enough to the store to grab anything you might need without a hassle. We loved the cabin, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, restful escape with friends and family!

Our last-minute stay at Camp Hiddenwell was just what we hoped for - the favorite mountain rental we've ever had! Mark and Missy were the best, most responsive hosts! The location is well off of the main road (no road noise at all) but still easily accessible by any car. There is plenty to do on there, whether watching the local fauna from the deck (bears!), fishing the stocked trout pond (our youngest is now hooked), enjoying a campfire, walking the neighborhood, or using it as a jumping off point for all the other activites there are in the area. (Stargazing, fishing, hiking, XC skiing, etc) The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, and the gas grill inspires confidence (unlike some places with dirty/broken ones); Mark even put out an extra LP cylinder just in case we needed it! It has all the amenities even the less-outdoorsy could want: Cozy couches, wood burning fireplace, Starlink internet, and TVs in every room. Tip: They will turn off the dusk-dawn floodlight if you ask!

Jason’s cabin was was lovely. Beautiful view of the river. Great kitchen amenities, including an adjustable temperature kettle, Chemex and a burr grinder which we really enjoyed for our morning coffee. Very efficient use of space. Also enjoyed the fire pit. Planning to return.

I would highly recommend this Airbnb I stayed here with a friend and we enjoyed it very much it was super comfy.

A quiet, beautiful place beside the creek - so lovely and relaxing! Even though it was chilly and raining, we had to take some time to be outside and listen to water flowing by! The house was very clean and the furniture was so comfortable! Courtney is a great host and very helpful and accommodating. We hope we can stay here again when the weather is warmer and sunny!

We stayed here for a fishing trip with some family members and had a great experience. The place was recently renovated, clean, and exactly what we were looking for, simple, comfortable, and convenient. The internet worked well, it had all the essentials and served as a perfect home base. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive, which made everything even easier. The location made getting to and from our fishing spots quick and easy. Would definitely stay again for a trip like this.

The accommodation is ideal for large groups. If you need to connect with nature and silence, this is the place.

This was our second stay at the "cabin", and everyone loved it once again! Such a beautiful home with incredible views. We especially enjoyed the open kitchen and common area and playing all of the different games. Gregg is extremely responsive and friendly!
