Vacation rentals in Climax

This house was amazing and the host was extremely responsive. We were looking for a place to relax and fish, and this was perfect. We were only there for few days but managed to catch so many different types of fish and probably close to 60 fish total. The house was clean and had everything we could imagine. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing adventure.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We love the house! The surroundings are beautiful. We even caught some fish in December. Most of our time was spent purely relaxing, and this was a perfect place for that.

Everything was wonderful! The house was perfect for a family gathering. The house sits on a beautiful lot and a peaceful part of the lake. Everyone enjoyed the available activities - hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks and inside games. The porch was great for outside meals. We would definitely stay again!

Once you get past the dingy carpeted stairs up to the apartment and open the door - the place is great. Great decor and amenities in a historic and quaint setting. The traffic can be a bit loud at times due to the antique windows. But I get it with historical tax credits et al. Convenient location with good parking and lots of stuff close by.

We had a great Easter weekend at Andrea’s charming lake house. It’s a beautiful part of the lake & extremely a well kept property. The bedding is comfy, plenty of board games to choose from, kayaks to use, the kitchen is stocked with plenty of cookware. The separate basement apartment is great & close to the lake patio/ deck. The cover porch was my favorite of all. This property is special to her & you can tell by the details in her decor. We are so glad she shared a part of her Dads legacy with us. You will truly feel at home at Terry’s Place 💝

We have stayed at this house twice and would come back again. Neighborhood is quiet and Heather is extremely responsive and helpful.

This place was the best “staycation” for us as we only live 30 minutes away but we wanted to “live the lake life” for a week! I know that lake like the back of my hand but seeing it from waking up to the sunrise on from beautiful back porch views to taking in the sunset and after dark on the dock fishing til I can’t fish anymore, nothing beats living on the lake even if it was for a week. Enjoying the lake while staying on the lake beats everything there ever could be, and this house is perfect for it! The yard is perfect for the dogs and the neighbors are so nice! The house has plenty of room for what you need as most of the time is spent outside! Loved every bit of it

We had a great family trip to this cabin in the woods. The cabin was right by a lake, and we spent a lot of time fishing off the pier — we caught about 20 fish! It was fantastic. The cabin itself was a true log cabin with a really cozy feel. It had three bedrooms and a loft, so there was plenty of space. There was also a game room that we really enjoyed. My nephew loved it — he played table hockey, chess, and checkers in there. The screened-in porch was probably my favorite part. It had a huge propane grill that we used to cook breakfast and grill the fish we caught. There was a big table out there where we played games, and a rocking swing where we just sat and relaxed. There were also two fire pits. We used one out on the pier one night, which was really cool, and the other one was on the back porch. Sitting around the fire at night made it even better. Honestly, it was one of the best family vacations we had in a long time. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go back!

Simply put, this was an amazing place! Home was impeccable, and the view was beautiful. Hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. Would stay here again!!
