Jeannie’s huge cabin is a treasure! It’s hidden off the road in a beautiful wooded area. The decor inside is charmingly “elegant rustic” but with all the modern conveniences. We were three adults and a child. Jeannie provided children’s books and games, and there was even a billiards table. The location was quiet and we could hear many birds singing. Jeannie was a great host, and we highly recommend her place!!

The River House is a real treat. We loved our stay there and Rhiannon was a very responsive and friendly host. We had everything we needed and being right on the Kankakee River was a bonus. The decor in the house is really cute and stylish. The beds were comfy and the shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. We felt right at home.

This small quaint home packs a HUGE punch when it comes to amenities and that home away from home feel. We couldn't have asked for more in an airbnb during our stay in the Chicago area. From the kuerig, to the decor, to the hot tub to the amazing bathroom and shower, this Airbnb had everything we needed and everything we didn't even know we wanted. I would HIGHLY recommend this airbnb along with the amazing and attentive hosts to anyone traveling through the area.

⸻ “I had an exceptional stay at this Airbnb in Gary, Indiana! The host was fantastic—she communicated clearly and made sure I had everything I needed. She was so friendly and thorough, letting me know all the details about the home, how to get in, and how to use everything inside. The amenities were above and beyond what I expected. The space was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and the area near Lake Michigan was beautiful. The neighborhood was very quiet, safe, and enjoyable, which made the stay even better. I felt completely at home. The host also made it clear that if I needed anything, she was just a message away to assist. I enjoyed my stay tremendously and would absolutely recommend this space to anyone visiting. I would definitely come back a thousand times over!”

Chris is a phenomenal host. He lives a few minutes away from the RV and is very responsive. Two adults and 2 younger kids were very comfortable and had plenty of space to hangout in the RV. We did not take advantage of the activities at the site, but there was something nearly every hour over the weekend for guests (especially kids) to enjoy. If we are in the area, we would absolutely stay again!

Maria’s place was great! Easy access to the Airbnb & the yard was a bonus for our two dogs. Lots of little touches that made the stay pleasant; coffee, water, snacks were all appreciated. The bed was very comfortable too! I would definitely stay again when in the area.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Angela was super responsive and made sure I had everything I needed. The only minor issue was the water pressure and temperature in the sinks, but the shower worked perfectly, so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, this is an amazing place to stay in Gary, Indiana, and I would definitely book again!
