Moin and welcome. Nice that you are here and interested. I hope I can convince you to come for a few days. You get a great apartment right at the foot of the Harz Mountains. The apartment was newly renovated in 2018 and is being renovated on an ongoing basis. It includes a bathroom, toilet, kitchen in the living and dining room and two bedrooms. You can drive to Goslar in 5 minutes. Optionally, the forest is right by the house, which attracts hikers. You can have fun here in both summer and winter.

Apartment in a quiet forest location

Welcome to the Krafthaus, a historic forester's house from 1902 on the edge of the forest in the Upper Harz region. The sculptor Reinhold Kraft lived and worked here for many years. Sculptures and works of art in the apartment still remind us of his work today and give the house its special character. The apartment can accommodate 4 to 8 people in approximately 70 m² of space. The large garden and the quiet location by the forest invite you to spend relaxing days with friends or family.

Apartment 2 on the Harz in beautiful nature

The apartment is on the upper floor of our vacation home, which was completed in the spring of 2020. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Harzburg/Westerode district surrounded by fields and meadows overlooking the beautiful Harz Mountains. The transport connection is very good, so you can quickly reach the nearby cities such as Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg or Braunschweig by car or bus and train from Bad Harzburg. Shopping facilities are also available in the village.

The house "Schanzenblick" is beautifully located in a cul-de-sac overlooking the Mühlenberg. From here you can start beautiful hikes. The fenced garden with grill and seating area can be used. The center of Altenau with supermarket, shops and restaurants is a 10-minute walk away. Altenau offers the largest herb park in Germany, a disc golf course, a free forest swimming pool and the crystal thermal bath "Heißer Brocken" to pass the time. On 43 m², a modern and light-flooded accommodation awaits you, which convinces with its stylish furnishings and a fantastic view.
