Nearby is the town of Garstang which is known for its tasty home-grown produce and individual shops, where you can buy some treats particular to Lancashire! Here you will find shops and pubs and why not explore the town and watch the passing canal boats cruise along the peaceful Lancaster Canal. Within reach is the historic city of Lancaster with much to see, including the Medieval castle and Georgian architecture, and the seaside resort of Morecambe, the Forest of Bowland and further afield the wonderful Lake District National Park are well worth a visit. Beautifully appointed cottage near Blackpool.

This is a beautiful cottage within the heart of Lancashire farming community. Surrounded by rural views. With two private gardens at your disposal and private secure off road parking. On a country lane, that provides quick access to Blackpool with its night life, attractions and illuminations in September, and only 50 mins to the Lake District. If you want the sea, its not far at all, with large beaches at Blackpool and the lovely upgraded front at Cleveleys is only a short drive away.

The West Wing is a private annex attached to a 5-bedroom detached Victorian house with excellent garden views. It features its own entrance, a cosy living area with sofa, TV, dining table, and a well-equipped kitchenette, along with a comfortable double bedroom. The private shower and toilet are located off a shared utility room, but are for guest use only. Guests are welcome to relax in the garden. This beautiful and quaint cottage used to be the coach house for the mansion just down the road. It was build in 1616. Pub is walking distance. The cottage has full gas and electric but also a wood burning stove. The cottage is set in the quiet picturesque village of Churchtown. Near Garstang. This property is pet friendly. Please contact me if you would like to bring more than 1 pet. I charge £15 per pet per booking extra (unless extra cleaning is needed).
