A lovely stay at Geoff’s house. Great location, across from the beach, and super peaceful. A lovely front verandah to hang out on with the dogs, rocking in the hammock. The only downside was that the second bedroom didn’t have any blinds or curtains so next door’s light kept the kids awake until late. This definitely needs seeing to as nobody wants tired kids at the end of a weekend away. Overall, a lovely weekend break.

Belongil is without a doubt one of the very best locations in Byron and Scott and Mark are great hosts. From the property you can hear the waves and the birds, it’s so peaceful and comfortable. Walk into central Byron, along the beach, in less than ten minutes. Scott’s property is excellent value for money, super comfortable and clean, and is dog friendly with a secure yard. Perfect!

We love coming to Broomshead to relax by the seaside. Beach haven was the perfect spot for 2 families to unwind and enjoy each other’s company while also having space to find time alone. Plenty of comfy spots to read a book on the wrap around balcony and enough space for the kids to happily play footy in the yard and handball too! Conveniently just across from the beach which was so handy when needing to pop back for lunch before heading back for more beach time in the afternoon. Excellent location and little touches from the host with coffee pods and laundry detergent provided as well as some staple items for cooking and plenty of crockery/pots and pans! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon!

A great stay. Timber everywhere is gorgeous. Beds comfortable, plenty of space, rear deck quiet and private, kitchen easy to use and everything in place. Lots of kitchenware. Whole property really clean, light and airy. Location wise easy walking - we didn't use the car once. About 5-10 mins to main street, less to get to the beach.

We really enjoyed our time at Annette's place. It was a lovely and relaxing getaway. There were so many things to like: the privacy, the firepit, the outdoor bath under the sky, and all the wildlife, especially the birds. The lack of internet was actually a blessing in disguise, as it meant the whole family could truly disconnect and enjoy each other's company. The serene environment, the soothing sound of the ocean, and the thoughtful amenities made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

A fantastic home in a great location. Just bad timing with builders replacing decks and making a lot of noise from 7.45am but once the new decks are completed that will be a great improvement. We were out most of the day so not too inconvenient.

The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Easy walk to restaurants etc. Beach right across the street.

Margy and Graham are exceptional hosts — responsive, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The space itself is much larger and more open than it appeared in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It's just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to head out barefoot for a relaxing stroll along the shore. Treehouse, located only 200 metres away, is a great spot to enjoy live music and pizza on a Friday evening. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a laid-back coastal getaway.

Comfortable apartment with amazing views! Perfect place to relax and just enjoy watching the ocean. Sharon really goes above and beyond in making sure you have everything you need, there was fruit and fresh bread in the kitchen, the fridge was well stocked with eggs, milk, butter, ham and more. There were a lot of toys, kids books and DVDs, which meant our toddler had a the best time. The location is perfect, apart from the stunning views, there is a restaurant 50m down the street (which does great breakfasts), the Pacific Hotel and some other restaurants are a 5 minute walk away and the center of town is a pleasant 10 minute walk (or short drive). Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of staying at Kate's Airbnb, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The communication was clear and prompt. The check-in process was seamless, and I appreciated the host's detailed instructions on how to access the property. The space itself was exactly as described, and the location is spot-on convenient. We’ve stayed here before and keep coming back because it’s just such a calm and comfortable space. The apartment is well located and has everything you need - including a large kitchen - and is beautifully decorated. We had easy communication with John and there are straightforward check-in instructions. Couldn’t ask for better!

The house felt cosy and a home away from home. It was not prestigious and felt so natural and comfortable. There was a good information booklet with useful travel information and the breakfast cereal and tea/coffee/milk supplies were much appreciated. Nice to see the compost bin, which is what we use at home. We also appreciated the thoughtful wedding anniversary card and chocolates. The home was also a good walking distance to both the shops and beaches.

What an amazing stay! Despite the big swell, we had a fantastic time soaking in the beauty of this stunning location. The thoughtful amenities and sweet welcome touches made us feel right at home. Communication was always fast and helpful whenever we had a question. The little Easter eggs were also such a fun and unexpected surprise! This is the second time we have stayed here. The house has had a massive refurb and made the place so much bigger and even better. The pictures DO NOT do the place justice. From the moment you first communicate with Raymond and Julieann to the moment you check out this house and the experience of being in Broomshead will never disappoint you. There is nothing you need to bring except yourself, some clothes and food. Everything else is provided including the welcome eggs, milk, bread, butter, coffee and tea supplies. My family loves staying here and compared to the other places in Brooms that we have stayed over the years this is number 1 by a mile. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this house again. We were even granted an early check in before noon. Well done Raymond and Julieann you have an amazing place.

Amazing!!!! Tranquil and private balconies overlooking forest/wetlands. Unbeatable serenity. Very friendly and highly responsive host (Darren). Brand new and clean bathrooms. Air conditioner worked very well. In a private gated street full of pretty trees, felt like being in a beautiful hideaway jungle! Highly recommend for those wanting a private oasis and being in touch with local animals/birds. Would definitely stay here again!!! 👍
