Vacation rentals with a kayak in Claiborne County

We loved staying at this place for our family lake trip this summer. The access to the ramp to put our boat in the water was so easy and having our own private covered boat dock at the house was great. The walk to the dock was very easy with minimal stairs. Having keys instead of just using the keypad was a little difficult at times with hands full with kids and boat stuff, but it was fairly easy unlocking and locking up each day. Overall, we would love to stay here again and appreciate the space and everything it had to offer!

The house and location is absolutely beautiful. We had plenty of space for our large family to feel comfortable. The house was fully stocked to the point that I wish I had packed less. Lots of parking and very private. The hosts were very helpful and kind. Highly recommend.

We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs over the years, and this is far and away the best we’ve ever experienced. It has the feel and finishes of a luxury hotel, but with the space for four families to spread out, each with their own wing. The kitchen is fully stocked — not just the basics, but everything you could need (and then some), all in high-quality cookware and tools, not the typical cheap stuff you find in most rentals. We loved having double dishwashers, washers/dryers, and three refrigerators. There are fireplaces everywhere (we used them all!), but our favorite spot was the back deck with the fireplace and TV (cuddled up with one of many may cozy blankets cheering for our Columbus Crew). PLUS, the double-decker dock? Incredible! We all took turns on the slide and got so many slow-motion videos of our boys jumping off the upper deck-endless fun and memories. Suffice it to say: we had an amazing time. The photos truly don’t do this place justice. I give it all the stars!

Quick business trip. Can describe Flossie’s in two words - Comfortable and quaint. Everything you need. Decorated for Halloween!! Misty is responsive and helpful. High speed internet was a plus. The house is secluded for peaceful sleep. Front porch perfect place to sit and relax. Location is a good ways from any restaurants - you’ll enjoy the scenery as you venture out.

Great hosts. I really enjoyed being able to fish off of their dock. I got crappy Bass and a 21 lb Flathead catfish.

2 adults and 7 high school teenagers + this house = a great experience. We took our children and their friends for Memorial weekend and had a great time making memories. The house has balanced communal and private space for a large group and all the outdoor adventuring you could want. Our boys loved the tree swing while the girls enjoyed lounging on the dock. We took advantage of the neighborhood boat ramp located literally right next to the property as well, it could not have been any more convenient. The well appointed kitchen and seating areas were much appreciated and made for fun times at all hours. This is a 'do again' for our crew!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin is beautiful and is a perfect location!

Our family of 5, including 3 teenagers, had a lovely time at Alex’s home for spring break. The home was well maintained and had all the necessities needed. The location was perfect for us to unwind from our busy routines. Pleasing teenagers is one hard task but this house did the trick with fishing, paddle boards, and the hot tub. While there were enough bedrooms for each kid, they decided the bunk bed room was their favorite so they all stayed in there! Alex was very responsive to the questions we had during our stay. We would definitely consider coming back again!

The listing was exactly what we expected. Just up the road from the lake and pretty easy to get to. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning.

3 Point was a gorgeous place to stay. Partly for the beautiful views, and partly for how Tom has created such a comfortable home. The description was accurate, the home was clean, and the instructions were clear. It had everything we needed for our group to a perfect weekend away! We will definitely be recommending to anyone coming to Norris Lake looking for a great stay!

If I could change anything, I would let people know that the owner lives on site. That to me was an incredible perk. Very nice people. Made it feel more like home!

We had such a Wonderful Thanksgiving weekend in Sneedville with our family! Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us and our pups. It was exactly what we were looking for!! Such a cozy cottage with beautiful surroundings. Thank you for being so flexible with check in! We will be back in the spring for sure and for all of our other trips to Sneedville. I stayed at this cabin for 3 nights with a couple of friends and it was the perfect spot! Having the property to roam is really nice and access to the lake. They have a ton of large cabins all near each other on the property so it would be a great place to have a family reunion or retreat with a large group. I would recommend staying here overall!

Had an incredible stay at Carol’s cabin. Perfect lakeside getaway with an incredible view. Carol thought of everything - even had fresh baked bread waiting for us! Worked great for our group of 7. Would absolutely recommend.

We had our honeymoon at the cabin for a week, and it was perfect! The coziness and character of the place was just what we wanted. The access to the lake was easy, the all window porch overlooking the lake was beautiful, and the inside fireplace was so romantic. It’s so peaceful here all you hear are the sounds of Norris Lake. It’s an older cabin, but it is renovated just enough to give you the modern amenities while still keeping its charm. And don’t forget the dock! It was AMAZING. We cannot wait to go back 🩵

Lovely cabin! stunning view of the lake. We were a family of 8 and it suited us beautifully. My mother and father have limited mobility and it was wonderful that everything was on one floor. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to make meals. The layout was great for all of us to be able to hang out together. Super comfortable family room furniture. It was warm enough a couple of days to sit on the porch. I enjoyed having my coffee and reading while listening to the geese and birds on the lake. Rita was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a peaceful location! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the river, birds and bugs :). The cabin was well supplied and the hosts did a great job of ensuring that essentials were all covered with more than enough for the duration of our stay, and we really appreciate it. Our dogs had a great time playing in the yard. I cannot think of a more peaceful place to stay.

Orchard Mountain view is a great option for a mid-size crew looking to explore the local area in and around Ride Royal, Tackett creek. Home is thought out well and appropriately equipped. Great views from the rear deck of home. Would be phenomenal during the fall months. Was very comfortable four our party of six. Would definitely consider it again if we return to this area to ride. Driveway was able to handle our equipment trailer with some creative driving. I would like to see a regular propane grill instead of a blackstone but that is just my preference to BBQ. Did have visits a couple nights from local wildlife so it is necessary to appropriately store trash. I think a steel trash encloser would be a nice addition. Would just have to be creative as how to make it blend into the beautiful surroundings.

The pictures just dont do this place justice. The cabin was beautiful, the nature was peaceful. Our 3 year old and 15 year old enjoyed the out doors so much. Would recommend.

Sweet little cabin with a lovely view of the river. Amanda even had it all decorated for Christmas! It was super cold during our stay and the cabin stayed nice and toasty warm. Bed was divinely comfortable. Amanda was great to deal with and even left us fresh eggs. A couple of notes for potential guests..the driveway is extremely steep. We have a big 4wd vehicle but a 2wd car might find it challenging. Also FYI, restaurants that serve alcohol are few and far between in the area, so if you are looking for a cocktail with dinner, you will struggle.
