Donegal was voted the "Coolest place on the planet’ by National Geographic. Our stone cottage is a restored farm building ( circa 1852 ), it is part of our home property, close to the main house. The restoration has a modern touch with tranquil decor. Our property is primate and secluded, in the countryside of rich farmlands of Donegal. Beltany Circle is 5 minutes walk and the historic village of Raphoe makes this the ideal location from which to explore the magic of ‘coolest Donegal’

Located just a 10-minute drive from Letterkenny, this charming loft is a quaint, cute, fully equipped, self-catering, one-bedroom overlooking the Lough Swilly. The first thing that any visitors say is ‘that’s someview’, hence we named it SomeView. Up to four guests plus a baby can relax in a beautiful scenic area. Standing 600 feet above sea level with approximately 20 Donegal mountains in view. We are set in a quiet country road with easy 10 minute access to City of Derry airport and the city centre. It’s also only a short distance to some of Walkni’s recommended short walks - Ness Park, Beechill Woodland, Muff Glen to name a few.

The historic Donegal Town Centre is only a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk. We have Lidl Supermarket and Supermacs and Papa Johns Pizza less than a 1 minute drive or 3 minute walk. The Town has everything that visitors require i.e. Restaurants, Entertainment, walks & tours of surrounding areas. A good base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. The check in time is between 4pm and 7pm. Check out time is 11am. We need to know an estimated time of arrival please.

Our location is central Donegal and is the perfect base for exploring beautiful countryside ,heritage and the Wild Atlantic Way. The cottage is located in Stragally Co Donegal between the towns of Ballybofey and Glenties which offer many shops pubs, restaurants, traditional music etc.
