Vacation rentals in Claddach

We had a wonderful time on the island of Scalpay (Harris). The house is fabulous! It's beautifully decorated, has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. It was a really cosy and comfortable place to spend time in a beautiful quiet location but just a short drive to Tarbert for things you might need. The situation of the house is spectacular and the whole of Lewis and Harris are outstanding places of natural beauty to explore. Mary Jane and Ian could not have been more helpful with information before we arrived and during the stay. They went above and beyond in helping us when we had some ferry issues which meant we had to extend our stay, they were great hosts!

Juliet’s cottage really is a 5 star place to stay. Everything was of the highest quality. So warm, comfortable, relaxing, peaceful and well equipped. Juliet was wonderful leading up to and over our stay. We cannot wait to return.

Irene and Ian were are wonderful hosts! The shepherds hut is such a dream, it is so cozy and warm, I felt right at home while I was in Uig. The bed is firm and super comfortable, water pressure and temperature in the bathroom was superb, and I was able to cook during my stay with all amenities Included. Irene and Ian gave me excellent recommendations on what to do around town, and were so welcoming and communicative. I was so sad to leave and would absolutely stay again in the future!

It is a wonderful place to unwind and just stare out of the big window in front of a little fire after a good hiking day. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious what made cooking joyful. I loved it and hope to return one day.

Our second visit to Mora certainly lived up to our expectations. Mora is very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay and is spotlessly clean for your arrival. We can highly recommend Mora to ayone looking for accommodation in our beautiful island. Thank you, again, Morag. This is a beautiful house in a stunning location. Better even than the photos. It was very cosy and peaceful, with amazing views over the loch from virtually every window. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfy and there is an amazing sound system. Next time we are coming to Skye I will definitely book here again. Thanks Juliet for the lovely stay.

We were very happy about our choice of cottage; particularly as it is pet friendly. Our hosts were very proactive in terms of communication - it was good to be warned about being well prepared in terms of provisions - no nearby shops! The cottage is wonderfully peaceful which suited us; it was also wonderfully warm - especially the bathroom with its heated floor; this made the cottage an excellent retreat on the one day of bad weather that we had , if necessary the bathroom could have been used as a drying room! We enjoyed the space; properties with just one bedroom can be cramped but as the photos show, there is a table with 4 chairs in the kitchen; the lounge has two sofas and in the bedroom you can easily walk on both sides of the bed. The bedroom has generous storage. The surrounding garden is a delight. Another reason for choosing Blossom Cottage was that it was reasonably close to the Three Chimneys restaurant. There are many excellent walks nearby, some of which we enjoyed.
