Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Clacton-on-Sea

Our group of six—two adults, one young adult, and three teenagers—had a very comfortable stay at Lesley’s lovely home. It, indeed, felt very much like a home and not just a rental property. There was ample space for all of us, and it was great to have three toilets and two showers. The location is superb—a short walk to coffee, restaurants, and the riverfront, which we enjoyed strolling along in the evening. A great place for a larger group to stay in Wivenhoe!

A stunning Airbnb. Really thoughtful touches and definitely convenient for a longer stay. Beautiful peaceful location, but a convenient spot in the heart of Woodbridge. The perfect location as a base for our wedding weekend!

Van is in one of the best spots for views and privacy. Very comfortable with everything you need close by. Another fab stay.

My second time staying at Jo’s and the attention to detail is amazing. Feels like a home away from home, and everything you could need is thought of!

Stayed here with 10 guys. There is ample room to sit together to have dinner, a large enough lounge for everyone to relax and all spaced that require less clothing is very private and not overlooked. The upper balcony is shared with a bedroom from 16A, but I assume that is not in use when the place is booked. Driveway is shared with adjacent property but you can still fit 4 cars. Hot tubs extremely well maintained. Furniture is in excellent condition. Furnishings are modern and tasteful. All kitchen appliances work with ample crockery and cutlery. Beds are very comfortable and allow flexible sleeping arrangements. Bathrooms were very clean.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy English cottage! From the moment we arrived, Sarah made us feel so welcome. She truly went above and beyond—every little extra she left in the home made our stay feel special and thoughtful. The cottage itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, filled with authentic British charm that made it peaceful and relaxing throughout our stay. It had everything we needed and more—every amenity was thoughtfully provided. The location couldn’t have been more perfect: just a short walk to the main area of town and right across the street from the railroad station, which made getting around so convenient. This was the perfect countryside escape, and we’re so grateful for Sarah’s hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

A beautiful cottage in an amazing location. The house is really homely, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The backyard was a fantastic bonus - a real sun trap that made a sunny Easter weekend all the more enjoyable. The area is really quiet and walking distance to great restaurants, walks, the 'beach' is at the end of the lane. The bikes are as described (heavy and uncomfortable) , but if you bring your own the side access to the back yard makes it easy. A wonderful place to stay in a wonderful little part of the world. Myself, my family had the most wonderful stay. The host Caroline really has paid attention to detail with garden toys, board games, books in the bedroom & living space. The home is pristine with a tasteful coastal decor. The kitchen is perfect with all the utensils and glasses you could want. There is a supermarket & bakery within walking distance and a great number of restaurants and small shops close by. The garden is large, well kept and very nice to sit out in the sun with the table & chairs & garden swing. The beach is close by & is fabulous for play, walks and watching the sunset. The host Caroline is extremely patient & helpful with a quick response time. I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. 10/10

Perfectly placed for football ground. Short walk into town centre. Had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Tony was helpful and good communicator. Would definitely stay at Tony's place again when next in Ipswich. Thank you Tony

We had a wonderful stay. The flat is really close to the beach and looks even better in reality than the pictures. And Barbara is a fabulous host- very responsive, and she was really helpful about a couple of matters.

We had a lovely weekend at Walton on the Naze. The apartment is extremely clean, cosy and homely. The location is excellent, close to the beach and High Street.

Lovely spacious and comfortable property with great views of the river and Sutton Hoo. We really enjoyed the river walks and proximity to Woodbridge.

Henry's flat on Seckford is truly special—a historic gem with spacious rooms, high ceilings, wooden floors, and abundant natural light that creates a wonderfully airy atmosphere. Its central location is perfect: just minutes from pubs, shops, and the vibrant heart of Woodbridge, yet it remains tranquil, offering restful views over the River Deben. Henry himself was a warm and responsive host, always quick to reply and ensuring everything was smooth and enjoyable. This stay was exactly what I needed, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, characterful space in Woodbridge.

Cannot fault these lodges or michelle as a host. Everything was perfect, clean, comfortable and the lodges definitely have that added feel of luxury. Will 100% be returning. Thank you apple tree lodges for a perfect break. Beautiful lodges in a beautiful location.

Lovely cosy flat with everything you needed with lovely surroundings. Julia was a great very friendly host very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay would recommend her flat as a great place to stay.
