Jessica’s place felt special right from the moment we walked past the “Welcome to the Little Mount Street Guest-house “ sign and opened the welcome book, the best anyone has ever provided. The guesthouse has been thoughtfully and tastefully created in its use of colour, design, pictures and furnishings. There was a beautiful fairly new kitchen and bathroom that were spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the house. In the kitchen, there was a range of good quality appliances, cooking utensils, nice sets of matching plates and bowls, mugs and glassware and cutlery. This was such a pleasant change to the odd assortment provided at many other places . The bed was comfortable with thick and luxurious sheets. You could actually gaze up at the moon through the skylight that opened with a remote or darkened if it was too bright. With a big tv on the wall, the bedroom doubled as a comfortable way to relax with a movie after a long day Books and games provided too A great place!

From our entry into the treed driveway we felt a sense of relaxation immediately. The cottage was such a surprise behind the natural garden settings then opening the door to incredibly thought out decor and fittings was more than we could’ve imagined. Peaceful spot to sit outside cottage and lovely views over the horizon. Would highly recommend to any couple wanting a country retreat with all the comforts and beautiful surroundings.

Matt's place makes for a great stopover point in Albury. The highlight was being able to get the best room service straight from the Norma restaurant (or popping through the double doors to the bar!) and then settling in for a movie night. For light sleepers, the pub across the road can be a little loud but did quieten down not too late for a Friday - and the place is a split level with fairly open stairs so just something to be aware of on booking. We'll come back just for the food!

We loved our stay at Attico. Lisa has gone above and beyond to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment with great quality bedding, stylish country style interiors and all the extras you could ask for, including supplies for a great breakfast, Aesop toiletries, board games and magazines. The cabin is set back from the main house with hedge screening and has its own terrace with outdoor seating under beautiful mature trees. A good choice of restaurants are only a 10 minute walk away and we easily booked a taxi to take us to Norma for a fantastic dinner. We had a chat with the lovely owners of the main house and they were extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks Lisa, we will definitely return to Attico on our next visit to Albury.

Janelle’s place was exactly what l was looking for. It was exceptionally clean, fresh linen, comfortable bed, peaceful, lovely garden, great views. Janelle is helpful and very easy to communicate with. I am hoping to stay here again when visiting family. Also to mention, for those with mobility concerns, there are hand rails in the toilet and shower and a fold up shower seat and the landscape from the parking bay to the unit is flat.

The resort and accommodation was amazing and we cant wait to come back. A lot of things to do and being so close to the lake was great. Highly recommend booking a trip to Lake Hume and staying at the resort.

The gentleman at check in was very friendly and gave us a great dinner suggestion. Cabin was clean and tidy, great for us and our 7 month old baby. Quiet at night as off the main road.
