My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time! The communication before our check in was amazing and Amanda already made me feel so comfortable. When we got there the place exceeding our expectations, the pictures does not do it justice at all, everything was absolutely spotless and perfect. Thank you Amanda for making our stay so amazing and so comfortable, we cannot wait to be back later on in the year!

I don't know who loved the stay at the Leccino cottage more, us or our two dogs! It was so peaceful and quiet with beautiful little hiking roots around the farm and breathtaking sunsets. We especially loved the pool and hot tub which were perfect escapes from the harsh summer heat. We went on the hiking trail Leon recommended and it was nothing short of what he had promised: an interesting trail with breathtaking views! Leon was a lovely host, super responsive and helpful and we even got to take some of their delicious olive oil home (definitely buy some from him when you're there, it's so worth it!) What a lovely escape from the city, we'll definitely visit again.

Lovely stay, accommodation has everything you need. Felt right at home, it’s neat and tastefully decorated. Highlight is the hot tub which is always a win. The views were peaceful and serene. My kids loved the communal pool, hammock and playing outdoors in the front area of the house. Will definitely return!

A fantastic stay! The host was friendly and responsive, and the place was beautifully clean and well-maintained. The location offered great privacy, with lovely restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

A unique and fascinating experience. The huge remote property has history, bushman petroglyphs, game and lovely vista's. Owner Stevie was great company for his tour of the property and our first chance to really talk with a well-connected SA person. There are apparently several houses for booking on the property, depending how deep into the valley you want to go. Our cabana was much more stylish and new than pictures indicate. A couple notes: the cabin includes hot tub AND a plunge pool. No AC so you may find really hot days intolerable. Finally, the last hour of road there is rough (corrugated) gravel. To really explore the inner valley you need an off-road capable vehicle.

We enjoyed our stay, it was peaceful and private. We loved the wood-fired hot tub!! The unit was clean and we loved the location.

Rina is so friendly and accommodating. I messaged her about my daughter’s engagement and she offered to get champagne and a cheese board to surprise them. What a nice touch. Plus she had flowers and chocolates as a surprise from her. Such a beautiful view and loved having Nadine the horse come visit us. Thank you for sharing your cottage.

My boyfriend, our 3 dogs and I stayed for my birthday weekend. The cottages are perfect, the bed is super comfy, the day bed outside the kitchen is the perfect chill spot. The donkey shower is easy to get going and gives you an amazing hot shower. Loved the little details, body scrub in the shower, cute pot of honey in the kitchen. The view is gorgeous and we even got to see a lightning storm in the valley below the cottage. You could probably hike the whole farm over a week, so many great trails to walk and run. The dam was a bonus on a hot day after a hike. The host Hope was lovely and very responsive. Would also be an epic winter getaway spot, I would have loved to get the indoor fires going. Loads of wildlife on the farm, heard baboons in the distance on the mountain, saw various bokkies, zebra & horses. Perfect place for ours dogs to roam around, they're completely exhausted. I can't fault the place, it's wonderful and I would 10/10 stay again

We had a wonderful weekend getaway with friends in this lovely St Helena Bay home. The space is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The spacious kitchen and lounge with a huge fireplace were perfect for cozying up inside, while the big backyard—with a firepit and swing seat—was great for enjoying the outdoors with our dogs. We especially loved the indoor braai area with its large table, ideal for relaxed evenings with friends. The beds were super comfortable with soft linen, and the amazing selection of books was a real treat. Highly recommended!

We spent a weekend at the cottage for my parents' birthdays and we all had a great time, including the dogs! Beautifully appointed, very clean and modern, we had everything we needed & more, including ice, tea, coffee, fire wood etc. The pool and loungers are fantastic for the summer heat. We loved the peace and beauty of the farm and surrounding mountains. We will definitely be back!

Another wonderful stay at this cosy cottage, well appointed, perfect for families with kids and furkids, easy walk to the beach and a fun play park opposite.

Such a beautiful situation right by the beach, just open the door and walk down the sand. House was very comfortable and had all we needed. Duncan was super helpful on arrival and throughout. Would definitely go there again

We have had an unbelievable stay with Lina, she accommodated us perfectly in how to get there and how to get set up. Me and my wife enjoyed being totally disconnected from the rest of the world and just spend the days together. There’s a lovely space to cook inside and outside, the rooms are amazing and the whole building is nothing short of incredible. I can’t recommend this place enough. The only downside is that we didn’t book for more days. We will definitely be coming back.

Sometimes when you find a place that feels like home, it’s hard to describe the recipe that makes it so special. This being the second time we’ve stayed at the guava house - It was no less impressive than the first. The property is immaculate and well cared for and the cottages, of which there are three, are beautifully positioned to take advantage of the sunsets the views and well place trees. Keep you cool when it’s really hot. Thank you so much for the air conditioners. They made all the difference. 💯👍🏻

This is off the charts beautiful. The surroundings incredible, the river pools pristine, the cottage quaint, the bed comfortable, and the hosts lovely. There were more provisions than we expected incl milk and coffee, towels for the river etc, which was a lovely surprise. The location really is 4x4 or for experienced offroad riders only. It’s only a short distance from the gravel road but don’t chance it on a Harley or in a Polo :-)

An absolute gem. I have not experienced heat like that, but our private plunge pool and the farm dam were an absolute dream. We had such a wonderful time taking in the beautiful views and incredible stars.

This place is great as it’s located on a beach front resort. Although there are no sea views from our accommodation (which is located behind the tennis court) the beach is literally few hundred steps away~ Our favourite aspect of our stay was the friendliness / enthusiasm of the staff. They were quick to answer our questions, make helpful suggestions and even gave us an onion and a lemon from the resort kitchen for our braai. The bed was super comfy and linen was top quality and we made use of all the guest facilities including the bird hide. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to bring friends for a longer stay next time.

This is really a must stay! Such a pity we could not stay longer. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area. Although I never met Cornelle she was super friendly and accommodating!

Excellent stay! Anina and her family made me feel so at home. The cottage was fulle equipped, with all small amenities that you can and should need. Definitely recommend.

The house was great, awesome location right on the beach. Cosy cottage style beach living. We loved our stay and will absolutely be back. The beach access and views on the porch each night was our highlight.

We were welcomed by Ian, Judys hushand and next in the green were 2 deers. very nice experience.Ian explained everything and gave us some good restaurant information. we felt very comfortable. the have a good washing maschibe with a super short program that allound us to wash everthinh within short time. so we did lose time by waiting a long time. we wanted an early check-out which was very well accomodates by Ians' flexibility. We can higly recommend the place very much.
