Monthly Rentals in Holy Island

A lovely bungalow in a wonderful location on the edge of the village and with great views of the sea, sky and all the birds. Great walks and runs from the front door, we loved Lindisfarne! Lesley also recommended some great day trips slightly further afield.

We had a wonderful few day's stay in John's beautiful cottage. John is very engaging and even phoned while we were on our way to Holy Island to make sure we had received the key code and to see if we had any questions. On arrival everything was in order and Johns instructions on how to find his cottage were perfect. The cottage is incredibly well situated in the village with stunning views of the castle from the kitchen, garden and both bedrooms. We could have just spent our whole time on Hoy Island sat on the patio in the sunshine taking in the incredible view! The cottage is very up to date and the kitchen is well-equipped if you are more inclined to self cater. Everything in the village is only a few minutes walk away. There is a pub virtually next door and another pub two minutes away, also several cafes. There is also a gin shop right next door! There is room to park one car right outside and an EV charging point if you need one. All in all this is a fantastic property.

We had a lovely stay at Elliot cottage in Belford. The house was spacious, recently renovated to a high standard, well equipped and clean. Great location for exploring the surrounding area. We also enjoyed a couple of evenings in the Black Swan pub in the village, where the staff and local folks made us most welcome, it was a great laugh at the quiz night. A most enjoyable stay.

We had a fantastic stay! Kate was incredibly proactive with her communication—checking in with us on the day and ensuring everything was clear and thoughtfully arranged. The cottage was warm, welcoming, and very well equipped. The setting was peaceful and serene—perfect for a relaxing getaway, yet still conveniently close to civilization. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a smooth, enjoyable experience, with personal touches that reflect thoughtful consideration and past feedback. I would highly recommend this listing. As a host, Kate absolutely deserves recognition—Kate went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable.
