House vacation rentals in Chipping Norton

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

Lovely property, top host and perfect site that the property is located on. The only comment I would have is the Spa is ran by an angry woman called Abbie and she is what I would describe as a fun sponge. If you plan to use the spa, be ready for it and it’s a real shame you are limited on time at the spa pools (but this is nothing to do with this property) They also have a hot tub coming soon, shame we missed it but we will be back!

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

My wife and I had a lovely time at Lucy’s, we were so fortunate to experience the gorgeous manor and its grounds! Everything was in pristine condition and comfortable. The coach house had everything needed and Lucy was a great help to make our time extra special. This is the perfect place for a romantic and special experience for those who appreciate historical properties and beautiful gardens. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to book the manor!

We had a lovely time at Sarah's place. It's as the photos suggest and is in a very peaceful surrounding. The barn is next to Sarah's family home, but the way it is oriented means you get plenty of privacy. Thank you for letting us in to your home. We all had a lovely quality time with friends.

Had a lovely stay at Lexys place visiting family for a long weekend. Location was perfect for town and amenities and getting into roads near other attractions- clarksons farm which we didn’t visit this time, Blenheim Palace- 25min drive and Bourton on Water- 28min drive. House had everything we needed- great bathrooms, plenty of bedroom space and cosy kitchen and living room. Being 7months pregnant I could manage the steps up each floor but when I couldn’t be bothered I could nap and wash downstairs if needed. My 3 year old son loved looking round the house- full of character! My 2 very well behaved Goldendoodles were comfortable downstairs after a day out exploring Thank you Lexy!

Thyme Cottage is a little gem of a place. The pictures really don't do it justice - it is so cute. We stayed here as we had two nights at Nocturne Festival which was just 10 minutes away so super convenient for this. In terms of the house itself its one of the nicest Airbnb i have stayed in, every little detail so well thought through. it was a super hot day when we arrived but the cottage remained cool and Alison even changed the duvet to a lighter tog for us. It was squeaky clean, lovely little touches like super nice bath robes, 100 acres amenities, a beautiful little garden to sit in which we made plenty of use of , bed was super comfortable and parking was right outside. The interior design of the house was second to none, kitchen well stocked and one of the best showers i have encountered in an Airbnb. Alison is an amazing host, gave recommendations and answered as soon as we messaged. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to all prospective new guests. 10/10.

Middle Cottage was perfect for a long weekend away from the city. Interior was as good as Soho House and we loved the artwork and range of books to look through. We enjoyed walks nearby and The Bull pub for dinner one evening- highly recommend!

I had such a lovely stay at Kieran’s place in Charlbury! Kieran was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host - he went out of his way to recommend some fantastic local spots, which really helped us make the most of our weekend. The house itself is absolutely charming - beautifully kept, full of character, and felt like a real home away from home. It was also great value for money, especially considering the quality of the space and the experience overall. Would absolutely recommend and would love to stay again!

Stayed at the cottage for 2 nights in June. Very peaceful surroundings where you have great views for miles. Pictures of the cottage doesn’t do it justice, has everything you need there with outdoor furniture and sun lounges there to use. The hosts were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and gave us great advice on walks, restaurants and local towns to visit. Would 100% stay here again it is perfect for a few nights break to refresh

Lovely stay, would highly recommend!

OMG, I don’t have the adjectives to describe this trip! I booked it for myself, my husband and our dog & it was pure perfection. Lesley was helpful as anything, gave a list of local recommendations and the easiest check in/out instructions. It was clean, fresh bedding and location was PERFECT for where we needed (within a half hour drive of all the tourist spots we wanted to visit). Lesley let us bring our dog, left a card for us and a towel/bag of treats for the dog just in case he wanted a swim in the canal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Amazing host, wonderful location and just 5*s all round from me! Thanks for a wonderful stay Lesley ❤️

Had a great weekend with friends and the dogs. Location was perfect and everything is in walkable distance. House is beautiful and has everything you need. Julie responded quickly to any messages and was very accommodating with letting us check out slightly later. Definately recommend this house.

Absolutely stunning cottage, in a peaceful countryside village. The house felt like a home, with decor and ample utensils. The garden area blew us all away - beautifully designed, large, and in top condition. William was a fantastic host, always responsive and there to answer any questions. There were a couple of small things, but this is a new Airbnb listing so hopefully will be rectified: - the oven is an expensive AGA, and takes 6 hours to turn on. Would recommend asking your guests if they want this on for when they arrive. Although a quick, 'portable' electric hob at the house saved the day - there was no kitchen roll, foil, clingfilm, or scowling pad which wouldve been nice - dishwasher tablets should definitely be there - the road was easy to find, but maybe instructions on where it is would be helpful as it didnt come up on Google maps These are very, very small things, to what was an unreal stay at a stunning accommodation. Would highly recommend - we will be returning!

Tara’s and her families home is absolutely beautiful. We booked a very last minute stay and they were extremely accommodating from the moment we booked to when we left. Sending us lots of recommendations of walks and places to eat which was really appreciated. We had a lovely long weekend there. The local pub did a great Sunday Lunch and the Distillery was a very short walk away and great for lunch. We also did a day trip to Bourton on the water and Chipping Norton. Would highly recommend and hope to return. Thank you :)

We had a lovely 6 night stay at Strawtop Cottage 2. We were 4 adults and the accommodations were delightful. The beds were so comfortable. The cottage is beautifully styled and maintained to an impeccable standard. Every detail, from the tasteful decor to the comfortable furnishings, is first class. Josie and Charlie are wonderful hosts that go above and beyond. They welcomed us with generous local goodies that added a lovely personal touch. The amenities throughout are wonderful and the recommendations they gave us for places to visit and dine were on point. We highly recommend Strawtop Cottage to anyone looking for a wonderful experience at a charming cottage in a lovely village easily accessible to all that the Cotswolds has to offer. Thank you again Josie and Charlie for making our first trip to the Cotswolds absolutely perfect! We will be back!

Absolutely lovely! The cottage and location were perfect for my family. The backyard was a picturesque place for our children to run around. All of their recommendations were spot on. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in the Cotswolds.

A beautiful house with excellent amenities. The garden is super secure for dogs and very private. Rosie was a great host and communications were clear and responsive. An amazing weekend treat for all of us.

Kelly has a beautiful home, in an ideal location to use as a base to your the Cotswold. Very responsive and lots of great local recommendations, I would definitely stay again.

The cottage was outstanding. It was beautifully decorated and cozy to stay in. The kitchen was easy to cook in, especially with a food market nearly next door. The town was beautiful and peaceful with quick drives to other top Cotswolds spots. Highly recommend.
