Rustic Family Cabin on China Lake

This rustic cabin has been in my family for 4 generations. It's well loved, a bit quirky, sometimes musty and perfect for a family get away. We welcome well trained dogs, and have high expectations that you will respect the place and leave it in good shape for us and future guests. We welcome families, but after bad experiences, we are not available for your reunion or bachelor/(ette) party. Please note we ask you to bring your own sheets and towels. The water in the cabin is not drinkable

We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. East Pond is the host of several area summer camps. The camp will give you beautiful views of the lake. Sit on the deck and enjoy the loons and other lake activity.

We built the Wren Cabin to be a serene space filled with light and art and with lots of cozy details. Lofted ceilings, a spiral staircase and large open concept with lofted bedroom. The cabin also has a gorgeous wood-fired sauna for those colder days. Wren cabin has a large wraparound deck for relaxing and an outdoor fire pit, as well as shared access to Adams Pond. The space is modern Scandinavian, light and aery, and filled with thoughtful details.
