We live next to the old Spanish fort, the Fuerte San Antonio, and at a 5-10 minute walk-distance from downtown, atm machines, grocerie stores and restaurants. Ancud is a great platform from which to visit all of the Chiloé island; with regular public transportation through the countryside and different towns. It's also a beautiful place to just relax and regroup strenghts before keep traveling. The streets are safe day and night, the distances are short and the goods are quite unexpensive.

We are close to downtown Castro and the city's most important craft market. This space is mostly for solo travelers and families.
