The property is 18th Century and retains most of its original charms throughout (including vaulted ceilings, exposed oak beams, internal stone walls), while offering the luxuries of 21st Century living. It also benefits from a spacious garden, terrace area and countryside views. Located 25 minutes west of Oxford within easy reach of the stunning Cotswold experience. We live down a long drive, with the property surrounded by fields. A neighboring equestrian center means you are more likely to encounter horses on your drive down than a car. Due to our rural location, you will need your own vehicle to access the many nearby attractions, ranging from Oxford, the stunning Cotswolds to the lovely local walks and pubs. There is ample onsite parking at the property.

This is a beautifully built cabin - notably well constructed and well decorated, and brilliantly appointed. We stayed for two nights when attending a wedding and it was just perfect and hassle free. We loved that we were able to park, and check in even late in the evening was hassle free and easy. Martin is also really friendly and responds quickly to messages. We were so impressed! Thank you for a great stay!

This was our second time staying in Sparsholt at Alex's house. The house is well equipped and a lovely place to relax both indoors in the open plan living space, and outdoors on the patio or garden. The garden is very peaceful with woodland at the bottom. Our children love playing here! The village is beautiful, very peaceful with lots of nice footpaths across the fields, and not far from the larger village of Childrey or town of Wantage. The Ridgeway is a short drive uphill where you get some great walks with expansive views.

We really enjoyed our stay with Claire and Cuan. They were really helpful and friendly. The location is magnificent with the fabulous White Horse nearby. The cabin was clean and tidy. We thought the lack of a kitchen sink might be a problem, but Claire does the washing up and just makes it all work. The bed is nice and comfy, but also supportive for our ageing backs! Claire and Cuan seem to have thought of everything.

A modern, single-story brick building features a gently sloped roof and two entrances with dark blue doors. The surrounding area consists of gravel, with a large grassy field visible in the background under a bright blue sky with fluffy white clouds.
