This 1 bedroom/1 bath private home was originally a historic Sinclair gas station. Renovated in 2023, we’ve kept as much of the original building’s elements as possible while restoring it to create both a unique and relaxing experience. The bay area has been converted into a living/sleeping space that includes a TV & seating area as well as two queen-sized beds and a sleeper sofa. The former office space now features a full kitchen. A back patio, firepit, washer & dryer are all located on site.

Avenue K is a newly remodeled home in northwest Childress. Surprisingly spacious two bedroom one bath home with a garage, a patio, and a private back yard. Use the game room to set up your computer and work, or play games with the family. There is a futon which can be an extra bed for 1 or 2 children. In 1907, our lil town was in great excitement as 15 of the finest buffalo arrived by rail in heavy crates from NY to their new home in the Wichita Mountains. We have recently remodeled a three bedroom home conveniently located off 287 in Childress, Tx! This is the perfect stop if traveling through on 287 or 83. We have everything you need if you want to cook in or you have many options to grab food just 5 minutes from the house. We also have many great places for local shopping and sight seeing if interested. We have ceiling fans in all the rooms! A storm cellar is also in the backyard in the event of a storm.

If you are coming in from the city and just need to hear silence for a day or two, working in town but want your own space, bringing a family together for vacation/holidays or a couple that just needs a weekend away to reconnect. *It does have a 4 mile stretch of dirt road.

It has a fully stocked kitchen as well as a propane grill. There is plenty of parking area for trucks/trailers.
