If you’re looking to step away from the center of Chiang Mai and truly relax in nature, I highly recommend this place. Waking up to the forest view from my bed every morning felt like it cleansed my soul. I really enjoyed doing yoga, sipping tea, reading books, journaling, taking walks, and having chats with the house mates I met here. The housekeeper who came daily to clean was very kind as well. There are restaurants with stunning views and a small supermarket where you can buy local ingredients.This is definitely a place I’d love to return to.

One of the most beautiful Airbnb's I've ever been to. Super great house, very cute cat, very nice hosts who gave many tips. The light in the house is beautiful. A scooter is definitely necessary in the area. Approx. 40 min by scooter from Chiang Mai. Would definitely definitely definitely definitely definitely definitely come back.

The house is quiet and you have a wonderful view of the forest and the river. The rooms are nice and the hostess is super nice and gave us good recommendations for the area. The kitchen is unfortunately not so super equipped, but there are a lot of good restaurants and cafes nearby.

The location was ideal, very close to everything and easy to get around. We were a very big group and the children loved having the pool and snooker table to play at. Only thing I would say was that there was a lot of people coming in and out of the building area so didn’t feel very private for us Nancy was super responsive and would likely book again if we come back to Chiang Mai with a big group

A really beautiful thai style home in a beautiful area. We hosted a company off site meeting here and found the property and surroundings perfect. It's not just s great property for business either. I would be happy to bring my family back for a private vacation in the future. The host was very prompt with replies and very accommodating. Everything was as described and whenever we needed something someone was nearby to assist. Thanks for a great stay!

Don't hesitate, book this fantastic gem! We stayed at this place for a full week, together with our 3 year old boy. He loved Audrey as well as the baby cat :-) . Don't be scared if you have allergies, I do too and the rooms are extremely clean + the cat doesn't go there. Audrey is the most amazing host, always willing to help out and really friendly. The accommodation met all our expectations, lovely decorated, the beds are super comfy, great pillows too! There is a decent size fridge in the room which was great. And of course a really nice pool on the premises! There are lovely restaurants closeby and we used rented motorbikes (again with Audrey's help) to get around town. Would go back any time! Thanks Audrey!

This time to Chiang Mai's most satisfying homestay, meticulously taken care of, characteristic teak Thai architecture, public spaces and rooms are large, there is a small swimming pool, three cats.The 3 of us stayed for a total of 5 days, thanked the host Xiao Chen for his warm hospitality, and the "sick rice" I made was amazing.There are two 7-11 convenience stores around 5-10 minutes walk, beautiful Chiang Mai countryside view, looking forward to staying again in the next trip to Chiang Mai.

If you get the chance to book with Oon and Peter, you should do! Our stay was just perfect. The accommodation looked even more prettier then on the pictures and got everything you need! The neighbourhood is quiet perfect if you want to escape the town for a bit and be in a more local surroundings. 7/11 and a local market nearby. You can easily drive up in the mountains. But what mattered the most for us: Oon and Peter made you feel like a part of something. We even got the chance to celebrate new years tradition with them and family! Also if you are looking for some tips, Peter and Oon might have some for you. And last but not least: the breakfast - it was so delicious and always freshly made by Oon. We would come back for sure!!

Jungle Home Chiang Mai - your perfect getaway

I had such a wonderful experience at the Jungle House. It is exactly what it says in the write-up. The grounds and surrounding landscape is so green and lush and the nearby waterfall (literally 5 mins walk away) is so refreshing for a quick swim, and so clear! The cabin itself is simple, but actually nicer than expected, and being able to open the ENTIRE house up using the accordion doors is awesome! The cooking facilities are adequate and the bathroom is clean and in working order. There's no AC, but the valley is cooler than the Chiang Mai plains and the fan was perfectly sufficient. Sure, there are bugs, it is Thailand and the jungle after all, but the vast majority are friendly, very pretty, and the sealed off bedroom provides a perfect sanctuary away from them when sleeping. Finally, both Chai and Gina met me at the beginning of the stay, brought me fruit and took me on a little tour. They were so hospitable, and always just a phone call away. If you are looking for a cheap, peaceful, simple get away from Chiang Mai, I highly recommend the Jungle House, and the new bridge across Mae Kuang Dam makes it even easier to get there through Doi Saket, though the dirt road is a little bumpy at this stage. I already miss the sounds of birds and chickens, and the hundreds of butterflies. And the peace. Thanks guys, I'll be back when I have more writing to do! Dan :)
