Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Chesapeake Ranch Estates-Drum Point

We had such a wonderful stay! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—honestly better than my own at home—with 5-6 large pots, an Instant Pot, every spice you could think of,peelers (which saved me!), and both a NutriBullet and a regular blender. It made cooking for the family a breeze. The kid had a blast on the trampoline, and we all loved the easy beach access with calm waters perfect for swimming all day and kayaking. The beach was also perfect for a peaceful morning run, and at night we could see the lighthouse light on the water. The porch quickly became our favorite spot—we gathered there to watch a rainstorm and were treated to a stunning double rainbow. The sky was full of stars at night, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. The grill on the porch made cooking super convenient. We enjoyed being close to a large park where we played pickleball. The beds were large and comfortable—everyone slept really well. Michael was a fantastic host—very attentive and accommodating.

What a find! We were attending a wedding on the Potomac and found this gem of a place basically right next door. A perfectly appointed home in a peaceful, tranquil, beautiful setting. Connie was great! Responsive to our need to find the iron, not exactly an emergency, Connie responded immediately with it's location. Loved it!

We visited Southern Maryland for a family wedding. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Beds are comfy, house comfy, and they thought of the little things like : a full sized ironing board & Iron, beach towels, good soaps, and all you need for s’mores!Their welcome handbook was very detailed. Our only regret was that we could not spend more time on the property itself (because of family events). Would have loved to use the kayaks and the fire pit. My brother did use hot tub. Great stay! Highly recommend

Michelle’s place had everything we needed! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, the living room and dining space were both really nice to use, and we loved the backyard area and hot tub! It was also a very close walk to the water and downtown area! We would definitely recommend:)

The location for this house is beautiful! We loved the private dock and spacious backyard. We stayed in late March so it was a bit cold some days but we still had a great time using the provided Kayaks and sitting on the dock and watching the beautiful surroundings. The location was perfect to have some s'mores nights around the firepit. The hosts were VERY responsive. The few times I had questions they replied within minutes and were very accomodating with our requests. They were very proactive with instructions and generously mentioned a foldable crib for the infant in our group - although we had our own that we used. The kitchen had all of the dinnerware and cookware that we needed for the meals that we made. The living areas were open and inviting. It was perfect for our group. One thing to watch for is the very steep driveway. It took a few times to get used to. We would definitely stay there again when we visit our family in the area.

Wonderful accommodations for a relaxing visit to a beautiful island!

My family and I stayed here for a week for our family vacation. We are a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) and there was plenty of room for all of us. We barely left the house because with the beautiful view, dock, beach area, canoe, kayaks, hot tub, game room/ library, corn hole, and fire pit we all had plenty to keep us entertained. Everyone loved Mary & Shelly’s place, and it provided the perfect space for us to enjoy the river and each other’s company!

This home is just as advertised...it is very large, great for several families vacationing together! Our group was small so we didn't even make use of all of the space. The house is right on Tanner Creek which is just beautiful for sitting on the dock and relaxing, paddleboarding and kayaking, birdwatching, etc. It's also about a mile from Lookout Point State Park which is absolutely gorgeous. Restaurants and grocery stores are few and far between in this area, so it's a good idea to bring your own food, and the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans for cooking. If you are looking for a place to relax in a calm and beautiful setting, this is it!

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

This is a beautiful waterfront property located close to everything that Lexington Park had to offer. The host has organized the apartment very neatly with lots of useful information and entertainment. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful view, very peaceful. Sitting on the dock and watching the sunset became a favorite past time. Mary was so kind to allow us to use her patio to have my son over for food and games. It was a truly lovely stay. More amenities than any place I'd been to before. My only note was that the curtains in the primary bedroom are just sheer cloth, so the sun comes in at 5 am to wake you up, but that can be remedied with a mask, and changing in the bathroom was fine for me. The view is mostly wooded, so I wasn't concerned much about people seeing in, but I wasn't comfortable changing at night with the light on. The other thing to note is that the bedroom door does not lock from the outside, and there is access to the downstairs apartment from the house upstairs. It did not bother me, I took my purse when I left and didn't have anything to lock up anyway. Honestly this is a 5 star place to stay, and the little things are just that.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb during the GFNY cycling event in Cambridge, MD. The property was spotless and located just about a mile from the event site, which made getting to and from the race incredibly easy. The quiet neighborhood and proximity to the water provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere—perfect for unwinding before and after the event. The two-bedroom unit was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Jason was incredibly accommodating, even allowing us a late check-out to fit our event schedule, which was a huge help. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, whether for an event or just to enjoy a quiet getaway. We’ll definitely stay here again!

What a calm and peaceful private retreat! My fiancée and I spent a couple of days enjoying the brisk bay breezes and beautiful sunsets at Vickie’s. Everything was exactly as advertised and Vickie (and Scott) are true treasures—extremely responsive and thoughtful hosts who want you to have everything you need. Plus, their knowledge of the area gave us a great introduction to Leonardtown. So much more to the area than we thought! Whether birdwatching from “the best view on the block” or reflecting on the glider by the bay, we loved every moment of quiet and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

We rented A Little Slice of Cambridge because of the Iron Man competition held that weekend. It was convenient to the venue...and allowed to walk to the competition and nearby restaurants. Pamela was a wonderful host...communicating easily. The rental was well stocked with toiletries, dishes, pots and pans and extras. The house was comfy and the beds comfortable. An enjoyable stay...unfortunately, we weren't able to stay for more sightseeing...although I did walk down to the Lighthouse and beautiful wharf.

We spent a month in this apartment while waiting for our new home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect—the apartment was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. It was spacious, comfortable, and an absolute pleasure to stay in. What truly made this experience exceptional was the hosts. They were beyond amazing—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we had everything we needed. When we had an issue with the refrigerator, they didn’t just fix it; they replaced it with a brand-new one within two days! Their kindness and efficiency made us feel incredibly valued as guests. Spending a full month here, we truly got to appreciate how well-maintained and well-equipped the apartment was. It was a perfect home away from home, and we are so grateful for the hospitality we received. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

We had such a fantastic time at Maria's place! The instructions were clear, the house was beautiful and as described and the location was great! Maria was also a very responsive and helpful host! We will definitely recommend this place to others and come back in the future.

The house has been beautifully remodeled. Beds were comfortable and overall the home was well laid out. Location is in a neighborhood and about a five - seven minute drive to Calvert Cliffs Park and shopping. Driveway has ample room for two cars. Everything we used in the house worked well. Plenty of games to keep the kids (and adults) entertained. There is a beautiful deck out back but no chairs set up. ☹️ Adding chairs there and a grill would be excellent additions to the home. We had a great stay and the host was very responsive. Grandkids had a successful shark tooth hunt and left happy!

We had an amazing stay at Nick’s beautiful cabin! It is situated in a very peaceful and pleasant corner of the Eastern Shore. Nick is super responsive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great place for a getaway! St. Michael’s is a wonderful town and so easy to get to from this lovely place! Was perfect location for our family ladies trip- plenty of space and just a quick trip down town to the shops and restaurants! - I think we’ll be back!

Great quiet and secluded place. Very clean and roomy. Nice pond that was good finish with the kids. Definitely going back at some point

Pizza Friday was an amazing find! We spent a family reunion on the porch making pizza's in the oven. We obtained crusts from an Italian restaurant in California on our way and it proved to the perfect choice for us. We also enjoyed the dock and even caught a few crabs to show the kids. In addition we sat around the fire pit in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean inside although we spent most of our time outside on the porch.

The cabin was perfect for our little family, super comfortable and cute little space, with beautiful surroundings. Check in was a breeze and they even had the heat turned on before our arrival (it was a really cold day) and the porch lights were left on for us, we felt very welcomed. We would definitely book this place again next time we visit st marys county. Thank you Daniel!

The house was beautiful and made us feel right at home. Having a washer and drying was also game changing and allowed us to be pack lighter than usual. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I will definitely be coming back!
