Rectory Farm Retreat

MarionRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was the perfect location for a few days of peace and quiet - utterly beautiful location, super views, and the hot tub just made it perfection. Even when the weather was a bit ropey there was the hot tub and that view to enjoy. Great hosts, lovely dog walks round about and so many interesting things to do in the area. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to return.

The Stable House, Aldaniti - beautiful conversion

JasonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Excellent communication from hosts. It's a converted barn that has been done very well. Lovely peaceful short walks and endless views of large fields. lovely clear day for us so if you have a telescope bring it as good for stargazing. Clean and everything you need. No tv but didn't need as brought a blue tooth speaker to property. You are close to other properties as they are connected but we didn't hear a lot from other people next door and it's had private screening when on patio. Very quiet place and scenic

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

Hayloft Cottage - hot tub & indoor swimming pool

SaraRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Fantastic stay at the Hayloft cottage. The beautiful private surroundings just outside of Stratford upon Avon town was perfect and kept immaculate. Wendy made us feel right at home and the place was snug and cosy for the 4 of us. Complimentary treats for valentines went down a treat and we loved the pool and hot tub experience which was all pristine and well organised. Thank you so much Wendy, already planning our next trip! We loved our stay at Karen’s barn. Karen was extremely helpful and responsive leading up to our visit and once we got there, it was lovely to meet her and her dog Finn. The place was immaculate and she had left a basket of goodies for us to find on arrival. It’s a really peaceful area which our anxious dog particularly liked. We would definitely recommend staying as we thought it was perfect!

Amazing place and the location was beautiful and peaceful! The house was decorated so nicely with lovely features. The farm was so lovely, my kids and I loved walking around each day and seeing the animals - my girls especially loved seeing the sheepdogs Brian and Ash! Beautiful walks in the area and so many nice places nearby to visit with the kids. The nearby towns were gorgeous. Sophie and Shirley were great hosts and always quick to respond when we asked for any kind of recommendation. We really loved the pubs that they recommended - The Red Lion and The Fox Inn and would definitely recommend going! Overall a perfect stay and would love to return again in the future!

Sandy’s place for a 10 minute walk from our friends who live in Milton-under-Wychwood. Perfect location for us. The dogs loved the green opposite and great to have the Coop in walking distance too. The barn was warm and cosy with all the facilities we needed. Beds were really comfortable. We visited Fire and Wine for pizza which we would definitely recommend, also FarmEd which was really interesting. We also visited Stow-on-the-Wold and the Hawkstone brewery. Next time we would like to explore Bourton-on-the-Water and Burford. Would definitely like to stay there again when we next visit our friends.

Rural retreat with stunning views in Oxfordshire

Victoria was a friendly, helpful host who introduced herself on our arrival and who we saw a couple of times during our stay. The house was just as stated and as exactly as the photos on the listing. It was clean, clutter free. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bedding. We cooked one night in the microwave and airfryer as well as taking advantage of the local places to eat. Very handy to park and take the train to Oxford. A perfect place to stay for couples and families.
