A place to relax in winter in front of the gas stove with a beautiful view of the Otonabee River. In summer enjoy a swim or a paddle on on the river with one of our two kayaks. The kayaks are available between May 1st & October 1st as long as the river conditions are acceptable. Enjoy supper prepared using the fully equipped kitchen overlooking the river. PJ was a great host. We really enjoyed our time, and the fishing in the area. Great spot for a good weekends away from home. The only two issues we ran into during our stay was the kitchen tap had very little water pressure, making washing dishes a little difficult. We also ran out of propane and realized the second tank, was also empty. We did go out and purchase one to use but took it home with us. Otherwise, we had a great stay and enjoyed the place.

Sylvia’s place was extremely comfortable and pristine. We felt instantly at ease. Everything was thoughtfully crafted and brand new… lovely! The property is peaceful, quiet well maintained, and it has a beautiful creek running through it that our dog loved to cool off in. Sylvia is very kind and accommodating. We wish we could have spent more time there. We hope to return one day soon! Thanks for a great, relaxing stay. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a long workday, away from home. Thanks Sylvia!

Great cottage with lots of room for family. We had 8 adults stay. Lots of room for everyone and lots to do. Good selection of games and books. Paddle boards, kayaks and a tandem kayak for those who like to paddle together. Would definitely book again.

When selecting our holiday this year, we were looking for somewhere peaceful with a beautiful view that would allow us to recharge batteries. Patrick's home provided exactly this. The whole experience was awesome, the view spectacular. Overall the activities on the lake did not cause significant concern, the lake is big enough for jet skis but not for full motorboats. There were a few people who felt it was a great idea to just dash up and down the lake at top speed, but they soon got bored and stopped and this was, generally, only at the weekend. The rest of time the place was just serene. We were sad when it was time to go, we stayed 8 days and could have stayed 8 more.
