We really enjoyed it. The private pool is an excellent positive. Maria and Nuno were very nice and welcoming. It was a very good experience and we hope to go back! :)

Casa do Postigo exceeds all expectations, especially in person. Well-equipped, well-decorated and cozy. We were just sorry we only booked one night.

We had a lovely stay at Joaquim’s place. It is a large studio space (possibly a former dance studio?), with a well equipped kitchen. We loved the swimming pool and it was so welcome in the heat. Joaquim was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and also provided good information on Moura. The supermarkets are conveniently close at hand, and everything in the town is walking distance. We tried a couple of restaurants - Vermulhudo and André’s - both really good with a lively atmosphere. We climbed to the top of the tower at the castle, had a boat trip at the Alqueva dam, visited the oil press museum and generally enjoyed Moura which is very pretty. Thank you for having us, we would love to come back.

The place was beautiful with amazing amenities. It was very relaxing and in a good location, not far from the main town. I would stay again.

Danielle and I really enjoyed our stay in Carlos and Isabel guesthouse. A few things immediately come to mind when reviewing their guesthouse, like the cleanliness of the house and the beautiful decor. Clearly all of the amenities have been well thought out to make you feel at home and comfortable. Unfortunately, it was too cold to use their swimming pool. One minor suggestion would be to add a streaming service with the TV. We found Carlos to be friendly and very attentive to our needs during our stay. The location is rural, but only a short 5 minute drive to the city of Évora. There are a couple of small villages within a few minutes drive. In fact Danielle and I enjoyed one of our favourite Portuguese meals in the village of Valverde.

Beautiful and very clean accommodation. Everything as described! We loved the location in the little town and we felt very safe. We really enjoyed our stay ❤️ Host is super flexible and always responded. Recommended!

We loved the house. The shades were dark, the beds were comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. It was a longer walk to walk to Monsaraz than I thought it would be, but we really liked the quiet location and agree with the other reviewers who said they had one of their best meals at the restaurant next door. Would have loved to stay longer!

Definitely a great fit for quiet days and away from the hustle and bustle. The home was very well equipped and taken care of. We really want to come back in the summer!

I like to stay in unusual places, and this one did not disappoint. Located in the historic district but modern inside, within walking distance from the attractions and some restaurants to grab dinner, but also quiet and private. We loved feeling like the locals, and the atmosphere of the house.

My stay at Casa do Carmo was great. The facilities matched the photos and description. The location was excellent. Communication with Maria was very good and she was very kind. Place was very quiet.

Second time staying here. The apartment is beautiful, one of the best Airbnbs we've used. It has everything, even the details you don't expect like a toothbrush or soap for the washing machine. Veronica responds super quickly to any questions and is very friendly. The area is ideal, you can get everywhere easily. I had to telework a couple of days and it was a luxury to work there.

Mrs. Maria de Fátima was always very helpful everything met the expectations the house was how in the pictures and scent they offered a good wine of the region toast and sweet pumpkin 🎃 with walnuts and maps of the city also thank you very much and I will even recommend

Great place, quiet, to be with the family. The house is well equipped and well decorated! Carlos was always very attentive. Great for those with pets. We would come back again.

The little house is lovely - warm and homely. It is well furnished with a good hot shower and good water pressure. The beds are comfortable and there are lots of extra blankets (we came in the cold season). Parking is right outside the door and the back garden has a covered area as well as a direct sun area- chairs table and sun beds. There is a small laundry, lines and pegs. We would thoroughly recommend.

We loved the house. Too bad we didn't enjoy it enough because we only used it to sleep. We were only there for about 12 hours. But I recommend it 100% and if we ever pass by, we'll come back. Thank you

The Casita de Camino is WONDERFUL!! is in a beautiful village two minutes from Alajar, one of the most beautiful villages we have gone to. Camino is a spectacular host! She is always on the lookout and gave us many local tips. We'll be back very soon.
