Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking & stunning views of the local lake & Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with a double bed upstairs & sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a series of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high without guardrails, there is also a shallow pond.

Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

Mead Terrace is a recently renovated terraced cottage in the heart of the popular village of Blagdon, with views over the Lake, and amazing Mendip dog walks on the doorstep. The open plan living room has a wood burner and Smart TV. Three bedrooms sleep six, with a brand new bathroom, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine, among some of the comforts to make you feel at home. We are an ideal spot for wedding guests at Coombe Lodge, which is a 5 minute walk away.
