Vacation rentals with lake access in Chautauqua

Corey’s place was one of our best ABNB stays ever. Great place to stay and a short walk to the lake. Very quiet!

Kathleen’s home was perfect! We felt comfortable from the beginning. It was well stocked with extras. A great place to visit with an elderly person, or someone with limited physical abilities. There was only two steps, and a walk in shower! I can’t wait to return when the weather is nicer so we can see the beach.

This was our second time staying at Claire's House in Bemus Point, NY. There are eight in our party with a dog. All the instructions and communications were clear and helpful. The layout of the house is great for our group. We can spread out in different rooms on the first floor and the bedrooms and baths are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We are hoping to schedule soon for Thanksgiving 2025, Two families are from the Berkshires in Western MA and one from Indianapolis. Claire' s home is conveniently in the middle. Bemus Point is very walkable. Bustling in the summer and quiet in winter. There are several places to eat even in winter. No driving necessary.

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was impeccably clean, lots of fun stuff to keep the kids entertained, and plenty of space for our family. We hope to come back again!

Great place and even while staying in winter, I can see this place being great for the summer months as well. Super peaceful and private. Jane communicated great and very responsive. We weren’t expecting to have the driveway clearing from all the snow that fell, but they did and it was so nice.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb by the river! The place was clean, spacious, and came with tons of great amenities that made our trip super comfortable. The location was perfectly private—exactly what we were looking for to unwind and relax. One of the best parts was just sitting in the backyard, watching the geese play by the river. It was peaceful, scenic, and definitely the highlight of our trip.

We had a pleasant stay. The house was very clean and the locality is beautiful. The host responded to all our requests and they were very helpful. We will plan to book the same place in summer!

Phyllis and Derek were excellent hosts— they were very responsive and gave great recommendations of where to eat and what to do in town. The place was just as peaceful and relaxing as described. Highly recommend and we hope to be back this summer!

That view and being right on the lake is outstanding. Friendly Airbnb hostess with tons of advice of what to do in the area. Amish are close by so check out their markets, and just enjoy that outstanding view and lake access on a private beach. I loved everything about my stay here. Thank you so much! As soon as we walked in the door, we felt immediately at home! This was one of the best Air B&B stays that we have ever encountered! My wife was so impressed with how thoughtful the decor was and the welcome basket was yet another detail that we did not expect. The lake view was beautiful and even though the weather wasn't the best, it was the type of place that you could just relax and spend the day right there. Maripat and Tim were truly "Super Hosts" and it was evident with their home and their great communication. They literally thought of everything that you could possibly need and anything else was pretty close by. We had the most relaxing and stress free getaway that we've had in awhile. If our travels take us back to western NY again, I can guarantee that we will be trying to stay at this beautiful place on the lake. If we could give this 12 stars...we would!

Great place to enjoy the Great Lake, Lake Erie

My stay here was great! The place was super clean and had literally everything you needed! It was like being at home but away from home. Liv was very quick to respond to any questions and I had and was very kind and helpful!! Highly recommend staying here!

I went during the off-season - it was easy to get to, Joyce was incredibly helpful and kind! Would definitely love to visit again in the future. She was very accommodating and friendly! I loved the whole eccentric vibe of the town and everyone felt very welcoming and friendly.

A wonderful place to stay perfect for two people! We walked into a warm and cozy apartment that smelled wonderful. Thom sent clear check-in/parking instructions including local restaurants. The apartment was clean and the kitchen stocked with kitchen tools. While we didn't spend a lot of time there, it was a perfect retreat at the end of the day. We would stay again if the opportunity presented itself! One note that is no reflection on the space, it can get a bit noisy as it is located on a Main Street and also close to train tracks and the fire station.

Leanne’s place was so cozy and a great stay for a weekend spent skiing at Peek n peak resort! She was so kind and always responded quickly to any questions we had. She was flexible for our check in and check out times which is really appreciated! Would definitely recommend staying here.

We were stunned at how well equipped the kitchen was. It was a pleasure to cook. There's a lovely bathtub and a dishwasher, washer and dryer. The dogs had a blast romping around the property and the nearby beach. The beds are comfortable and it has 2 nice TVs. Thank you!!!

This was our fourth stay at Jeff and Anne’s beautiful lake home and it just gets better every year. So peaceful and the surroundings are just spectacular. Jeff was quick to respond to our questions and made sure we had everything we needed for another wonderful vacation.

This was our 2nd stay here, and experience was just as great as the 1st! Ideal cottage for relaxing at the lake! Exceptionally clean and had everything that we needed. Summer Haven is exactly as advertised. It's a beautiful home, right on the water, with the best views on the Lake. The owners were very welcoming and kind. Their cottage is next to their home and they have put a ton of love and time into their property. It was quiet, serene, and relaxing. The location is close to the Institute, restaurants, and shops. Mayville is by far the best spot on the lake. It's a short drive to Bemus Point and Jamestown. The home was comfortable and provided lots of towels, bedding, and comfort. I gave the cost 4 stars as it's so expensive to rent any property today. If the cost remains the same next year, we'd LOVE to return! Also, thank you for allowing our pets to come with us. They are family and it wouldn't be a vacation without them. Truly appreciate the inclusion of furry pets. Thanks!

the home was cozy and comfortable. it was easy to get to and the lake views were beautiful! I loved being able to watch the weather coming in. I also enjoyed the reading selection she had for us as well. Jan was always available and kept us up to date on any services or interruptions while we were there. she has thought of everything you would need in a home away from home. We had a lovely week on the lake and would suggest her home to anyone looking for a quiet cozy place on the lake.

The stay at David's cottage was perfect! our focus was fishing, so we did not spend a lot of time at the cottage besides sleeping and meals. David was helpful in getting us parked, supplying amenities for our boats and getting us situated. Overall, very satisfied with our experience and would absolutely stay again!

Exceeded our expectations. Perfect get away for us and our dog.
