Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Chartrons, Bordeaux

We enjoyed staying at Gildas' very much. Gildas was a great host, he responded to questions immediately and gave us great tips for restaurants and the area. We felt very comfortable and had a lot of fun with Diego, the sheep and the chickens. A lovely little paradise, right on the Dordogne.

Beautiful place in a nice quiet area. Valerie was always responsive. Highly recommended unless maybe you have trouble with mobility. There is a thin spiral staircase which is charming but if you struggle climbing steps could be an issue for you.

Excellent stay at Gillian’s place. Very friendly welcome, in person. Had everything we needed for our four night stay. We couldn’t find a corkscrew so Gillian arranged for a neighbour to lend us one. Next day a new one was delivered along with a bottle of wine! That’s above and beyond! Thank Gillian!

Isabelle is an excellent host, very responsive and friendly in exchanges. The family home is spacious and well-equipped. Bedding is super comfortable 😊 It's a beautiful house that has lived in, it feels good.

We had an absolutely exquisite stay at Catherine’s beautiful home. I really cannot recommend it highly enough. The photographs do not do it justice. The house is so central, we used the tram to get about but equally walked into central Bordeaux easily many times. We jumped on the train to enjoy the beach at Arcachon too. Just a lovely experience and we would love to return at some point. 10/10. Thank you.

We had a great time at Jérôme's place. The apartment is even better than in the photos. It is full of objects and furniture that were probably collected during the host's previous trips, all of which create a real charm in this vast apartment. It is perfect for 4 people, two large bedrooms (one with a gigantic bed). The neighborhood: Chartrons, very central but also quiet. 3-minute walk to restaurants. In short, a favorite, we'll go back!

It is hard to say enough good about Henry’s place! Our group of 3 couple loved the facility, its character and charm, its history and perhaps best of all was Henry’s introduction to the Airbnb and Bordeaux, which he handled with excellent information and advice! Henry met us in Bordeaux upon arrival and gave us a clear and complete introduction! His hosting skills are amongst the very best! Thereafter, he left us alone but we knew that his information and supervision of our stay in Bordeaux was only a text away! We spent a 3 day weekend at Marielle's cute, adorable and tastefully furnished apartment. We loved all the attention to the little details that she's put together for her guests. Marielle's responses to questions are immediate and she's very helpful with suggestions on what to do in and around Bordeux. The apartment is a mere 20 minute very pleasant walk through the suburbs to the city centre. There are two very impressive bakeries around the corner, as well as a supermarket. The carpark is a welcome bonus, but is suitable only for a small car by design. We spent half a day in St. Emilion, and another day exploring the wine route. Thanks to Marielle's well equipped home, we were able to rest and relax in total comfort at the end of our busy days. Thank you so much and we wish you many happy years hosting.

Quiet stay that did a lot of good to break the daily routine. Atypical and very cocooning accommodation shared with my son. We enjoyed the jacuzzi by following the usage information provided, which is nice when you don't know. A guide to visiting Bordeaux was available, and allowed us to visit 2 neighborhoods we wanted to see. We had the company of a little dog who invited himself during the preparation of the meal. The subdivision is really quiet and peaceful. And the sun brought an extra positive note. Thank you for this beautiful service.

A well-renovated apartment in a classic Bordeaux building. A great size for our stay (two people, four nights). The kitchen was well-equipped (including a dishwasher, which is rare in French Airbnbs) and we were easily able to prepare meals. The location was fantastic: plenty of food shops and cafés within a few hundred metres. Short walks to two excellent food markets. Right in the historic centre of Bordeaux, with all the sights and activities within a few minutes' walk. A private off-street parking spot, which is essential in the city centre. Bordeaux is a very fine city with plenty of things to see and do. Bertrand was very communicative and kind, allowing us to stay a little past checkout because I was ill and not feeling well enough to drive without a bit more rest.

Very charming apartment in a lovely neighborhood near a gorgeous public garden. It is very close to a small grocery store, as well as walkable to restaurants and downtown. We loved how the apartment was light filled. We visited in the off season so we didn't use the pool, but it was very pretty regardless. We liked the privacy of the second bedroom, which is a cottage in the back of the garden. Our 3 toy poodles were graciously welcomed.

House in a quiet and uncrowded subdivision. Nearby, access roads to the ring road and shops. The house is beautifully decorated, surrounded by a beautiful garden. No worries about parking. The description is true to the listing and Françoise is attentive to things going smoothly.

Staying in the area to see our family for the holidays we spent 2 nights in Sandra's house. Everything is as advertised 4 real bedrooms Clean and tidy house, beds made on arrival and towels provided The environment is very quiet There is a garden but in December we did not take advantage of it We will definitely be back again again

Listing as pictured and described. Ideally located, both close to Bordeaux, major roads but quiet and in the middle of greenery in a charming small town. The accommodation is ideal with a baby / child, single-level house with a large living room, a large kitchen, a bathtub, beautiful bedrooms, and a large and beautiful garden. Jean-Marc took great care of us, very responsive. He did everything he could to make us feel comfortable. For example, in addition to the high chair and umbrella bed (by the way), he provided us with some bath games for our son. The little attention on arrival (I leave the surprise) was also much appreciated. Thanks!

Perfect stay to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday with family, the weather was not with us, too bad because the outdoors are exceptional. But the house was big enough and flexible enough to have a very good evening. I recommend this place
