Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Charlesbourg

We enjoyed our family weekend with our dogs. The rock house was as described in the description. Very good service from Amélie and almost immediate response. We had access to the house 2 hours before the scheduled time. Peaceful area and warm house. Recommended.

This was the third time we rented the Black House and it's starting to feel like a home away from home. Proximity to the cross country ski trails is fantastic and the house is spotless, cozy and the kitchen is well stocked! Stéphanie is incredibly responsive to all messages and very friendly in all communications. highly recommend!!!!!

Place was absolutely adorable! We loved the fireplace. It was so nice sitting in front of it. Hosts would answer questions when we asked about the area. Very accommodating and only 15 minutes from Old Quebec. Make sure you take a drive around the island get definitely stop at the chocolate shop. Our favorite grocery store was IGA….the pastry’s were amazing. We definitely would come back and stay here if given the chance to do so. Thank you, Gary & Lisa

I had a wonderful evening and night at Suite Rigel. As soon as I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Patrick: everything was very clean, well-appointed and really comfortable. We can see that the host has put their heart into making the place welcoming and practical. I found everything I needed, and more! The location was perfect for me: close to everything, but in a quiet corner. A big thank you also to my host for his kindness and availability. Of course, if I'm in the area again, I'll come back here in a heartbeat. I recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place to feel at home.

Fantastic stay in an above-average Airbnb with lots of amenities I've never encountered in one place. Richard is an outstanding host who is very attentive. 5 stars well deserved!

Maude’s family home was beautiful. It had everything we needed for our 6 day trip with plenty of towels, kitchen equipment and comfy beds in a clean home. The pool was clean and well maintained and our sons loved the basketball and football as well as table hockey. There is a fire pit down by a shallow river where we enjoyed smores. It is a peaceful home that is private and not overlooked. Maude’s parents are discreet and friendly. Maude gave us some great recommendations for food nearby and we enjoyed Archibald’s in nearby Lac Beauport and La Bubbe Boutique in Saint Brigitte de Laval. There is an IGA supermarket nearby for food. The location is excellent, we were nearby the Jacques Cartier river where we went rafting with Expeditions Nouvelle and also visited the Huron Wendat reservation in Wendake. The accommodation matches the description in every way and as soon as we arrived, we felt good. The premises are very clean and the hosts thought of small details to make our experience enjoyable. The place is close to everything, really a favorite for this place, I recommend it and I won't hesitate to rent this place again.

The stay was great! The apartment was lovely and had everything we need. Coralie and Mélina communicated quickly as well. The only thing is that the area is a bit less safe at night, so it might be something to consider if you are traveling with family or alone.

The apartment was exactly as described, very clean, and nicely decorated. It is the middle floor of the building but we did not hear any noise from the other units. Jean-Francois was a great host, providing quick responses to questions and many recommendations for local places to visit. It was easy to walk to Old Quebec City from the apartment. We were unfortunately only able to stay 1 night instead of the planned 2 due to a snow storm but will definitely come back to stay here when we return to Quebec City!

Dave met us outside the place and gave us a brief tour and fabulous suggestions. We had a blizzard blow in during our stay and Dave was a great help with parking and suggestions for how to make the most of the city. The street is a bit busy, but that’s because it’s so accessible to the old quarter. If you’re willing to walk a bit it’s very convenient to get to Frontenac, a park with ice skating, and XC skiing, running, or cycling along the River. St. Joseph around the corner has a great market and several eateries and fun spots for drinks only 5-10 away. We had a great stay despite the blizzard!

The place was pristine and exactly as described, and the host was quick to respond when needed and overall great communication. This made out stay in Quebec City enjoyable and easier and more convenient than expected. We highly recommend Laurie's place to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Emma is an available and responsive host. the listing is as described. The city center is a 1/2 hour walk, which is quite good for those who like to walk. I would recommend Emma's accommodation.

They are pleasant hosts who are very responsive, quick response to messages It's for us become a tradition it's our 3rd year when we kind of end our ski season by enjoying their spa location also very much appreciated after a beautiful day on the slopes

Clean and beautiful view. Good location. 20 minutes driving from Old Quebec City. 13 minutes driving to Montmorency Falls. Nice place to stay.

Amazing place!! It's easy to get into, super safe, and spacious. They were extremely responsive and flexible. The place was exactly like it was in the pictures. It's a very short uber to anywhere you'd like to go. I will note that there are 3 bedrooms downstairs, but one of the bedrooms is on the main floor and doesn't have a door, only a curtain and it's right next to the dining room.

The hosts were outstanding. The condo was clean, spacious, and well-located, making it very walkable. I highly recommend staying there and would return.

Our stay was peaceful, private, and we loved the space. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The host was very responsive and gave great recommendations. A short 20 minute drive into the city gives you everything you’re looking for. We really enjoyed being away from the bustle of the city but close enough to easily get to restaurants, the spa, and attractions. The views from the home were incredible. Definitely recommend this space and a stay here!
