Top marks all round. The house is large and ideal for our needs (a bunch of grey haired old school chums getting together to play board games, chat and drink wine for a weekend). Big kitchen, big lounge, decent bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, just across from a super country pub and in a picture postcard village. The house and kitchen is well equipped and it’s not pristine kitchen ware so you feel you can have fun cooking. All round it was great and we plan to return please.

Would definitely recommend a visit! It is a beautiful place to stay, with lots of character and charm! Rooms are surprisingly large with lots of natural light and beds were well rated among our group. Swedish hot tub was a firm favourite. Joe and Hannah were responsive, super friendly and provided a stellar pub recommendation just 10mins away. Perfect for family or friends getaway.

We stayed at Acre Lodge over the late May bank holiday and it was brilliant. The lodge is clean, well laid out and with all the amenities and equipment you need for a restful stay. The fixtures and fittings are all great quality and the hot tub is good fun. The Mason Arms is a five minute walk away and a fantastic pub for food, service and atmosphere. Janet was a great host, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Simply perfect! The hamlet is a haven of unparalleled tranquility. In Lantern Cottage itself we marvelled at the tasteful design and a ceaseless feast of wonderful quirkiness. The beautifully tended garden is a delightful place to find solitude. One of the highlights of our many travels this idyllic cottage is a definite revisit.

We had a lovely time at Arch Cottage. The house is in a great location, full of character, and with a lovely garden. Will couldn't have been more helpful, and quick ro respond. We were celebrating joint birthdays and it made it extra special being in such a lovely house. Thank you Will.

We loved the cottage and location to the town. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Only drawback was the access. Was a choice of parking in an alley which already had a car parked in it on our arrival.....and the road had double yellow lines so that was out. So we parked round the back of the propety but had to go up about 20 steps to get our luggage up. This was hard for us as I'm an astmatic and we are both elderly. Other than that it was perfect.

Peglars barn was a truly beautiful place to stay. We visited for 2 days and it wasn’t long enough. The moment you walk through the doors the backdrop is jaw dropping and it doesn’t get old! I chose peglars barn as a place to propose to my now fiancé and it was perfect. Thank you Sophie for being a great host!

Great communication and lovely house near the outdoor heated swimming pool, tennis courts and sauna

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

Beautiful peaceful spot in the Cotswold countryside. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with great walks straight from the door. The pool was such a fantastic asset and really added to our holiday.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Easy walk to the pub across the fields and a lovely owner who was very responsive and willing to share her dogs with our children! Pool is a fab bonus and location is great for local villages and attractions, such as the Cotswold Wildlife Park. We didn’t want to leave and have already re booked!

Great stay with the family at Chris & Alexandra’s. Great cottage exactly as described and located in a lovely gated community. Comfortably housed 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We benefited from clear and detailed instructions both for finding the place and staying in it. The hosts responded promptly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend the place for family stays!

A beautiful barn conversion in lovely grounds with lots of facilities, with thoughtful and helpful hosts. It was a fabulous long weekend and we didn’t need to leave the grounds to be entertained throughout, from in the pool to playing pool, it was all we could ask for.

Beautiful home! Absolutely loved staying here. The grounds were so gorgeous and the property was 5 star hotel standard. It’s not often that you stay somewhere that the beds are comfier than your own and these were. They had thought of every little detail. Couldn’t recommend more.

Lovely house in a beautiful spot surrounded by fields, sheep, horses and chickens (and we bought delicious eggs for breakfast), two minute walk to a country park and quiet lane ideal for walking our dogs. 5 minute walk to World of Crocodiles which is definitely worth a visit. The Cotswolds is a really beautiful area of England. I came with my 3 grown up daughters and our two dogs to chill for a few days - it was bliss. Thank you Gus!

Beautiful place with lots of attention to detail. Very peaceful and we loved the local walks listed. We were sad to leave. It did get warm out while we were there and I worried about no ac but it stayed comfortable the whole time.

The cottage was beautiful and the surrounding areas. The countryside is so scenic! It will take your breath away! Check in was very smooth, and the cottage is beautifully designed! I felt right at home as soon as I stepped in! The bed was comfy. The pressure on the shower was amazing, and let’s not forget the bath! Overall an amazing stay. Wish we stayed for longer! We will definitely be back! Thank you. You have a wonderful place you should be proud of yourself 😊

If Amber Cottage is available for your dates do not hesitate and book quickly you will not regret it. Nicala and Steve are exceptional hosts and their adorable cottage is just perfect, from location to the cottage itself everything is 5 star. The walk into the centre of Stow on the Wold is less than 5 minutes if you don’t get distracted. The cottage is very easy to find with the hosts very clear instructions and photos. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean and so comfortable not to mention quiet and private. Perfect base to discover the beautiful Cotswolds and these Australians really hope to come back one day. Absolutely loved our 3 night stay here, everywhere in the Cotswolds we had on our list to visit was within a 20-30 minute drive. Less than 10 minutes to Bourton on the water, 4 minutes to Diddly Squat Farm shop, Daylesford farm shop only around an 8 minute drive away and about 25 minute drive to Broadway! Anna was a great host with the little touches on arrival, thanks again for eggs, chocolate & milk🥰 The Annexe was a home from home. Very cosy with great views and provided us with everything we needed. Spotless. Thank you for having us & we can’t wait to come back again in the future x
