Iconic 17th Century Thatched Cottage

Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

Cornerstone Cottage is a beautifully decorated cotswold cottage with a fitted kitchen, dining area looking out onto the cottage garden, a living room area with comfortable seating both sofas and chairs. A beautiful one bedroom mezzanine in the heart of the Cotswolds, a short drive away from Stow-on-the-Wold, Daylesfords and SoHo Farmhouse. There are many lovely country walks directly from the barn. Moreton-in-Marsh is a 10 minute drive away with a train station with direct links to London. 10 minutes walk from the barn is a Todenham farm with a fabulous farm shop and Herd restaurant. Pitt Kitchen is a 15 minute walk. There are also Padel Courts in the village bookable via Padel Mates.
