Villa vacation rentals in Chania

Absolutely wonderful stay. The villa is clean, spacious, with a huge outside area. Pool was perfect temperature, with comfy sun beds surrounding. The hot tub was also a lovely bonus! Air con worked perfectly, and the kitchen had everything you’d need. We made do without a car, but be mindful that the roads are very steep and windy, so renting a car would make your life easier - especially if you’re planning on exploring. Almyrida beach was lovely and sandy. Sunbeds were €6 a day, which we didn’t think was bad. Plenty of decent restaurants, and a supermarket also on the beachfront. Plaka, only a short drive (or 20 minute walk) down the hill has some lovely restaurants for dinner. All VERY reasonably priced. Overall the Villa was perfect. The Host was responsive and helpful. I would 100% recommend this villa if you’re after a relaxing week in the sun!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Das Haus war wunderschön und sehr gepflegt, und alles war perfekt organisiert. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und konnten unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Erfahrung!

Je recherchai un hébergement de qualité supérieure sur Chania avec toutes les commodités et je suis tombée sur cette location qui répondait à mes attentes avec cerise sur le gâteau cette jolie petite piscine privée chauffée. La maison est magnifique, spacieuse, la déco est juste ce qu'il faut et tout y est en terme d'équipements. On se sent comme a la maison. Ce fût un vrai coup de coeur aussi pour la piscine et pour la plage à proximité (Koum Kapi), pas de parasols à perte de vue, une jolie plage aux eaux cristallines, des bars et restaurants pas loin et des locaux mélangé aux touristes sur la plage. J'ai adoré cet endroit. Je voulais un lieux à proximité de la vieille ville et calme c'était vraiment parfait. Je recommande à 100%. This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Aikaterinis apartment and we were completely satisfied. The inside provides everything what we needed. The description was absolutely accurate. The fridge is very spacious and there is a freezer as well. We cooked quite a lot therefore this was very helpful for us. The pool outside is very clean and also the temperature was perfect for the hot days in Greece. You can really relax at this place because there is not a lot of tourism at this area on Crete. Also the beach in front of the house is quite nice. We put our hammock under some trees and were watching the sunrise over Paleochora. I can totally recommend this apartment, especially for couples who want some relaxing time and together.

We had a lovely stay at Stelios Villa. Incredible beautiful surroundings, it’s a short walk into Kalyves, we didn’t realise until day 3 but there’s a small parade of beach bars and restaurants if you walk a bit further than we had been for first 2 days. The stay was lovely, the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the village and it’s relatively slow pace. Stelios was very responsive to messages and very helpful too.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Kedria! Along with the amazing view of Chania and Souda, the house was incredibly beautiful, clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay in Chania. The hosts were extremely hospitable and responded to every question and request promptly. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an extension of their home. They provided all of the necessary baby gear and essentials for our little one, who also had a great time enjoying the pool. We’ve never had more caring and responsive hosts. They gave us so many travel tips and food recommendations that made our stay here in Chania one of our most memorable vacations. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

The pictures speak for themselves. An absolute heavenly space which is very close to shopping and restaurants. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a spa like refuge from the Crete summer heat.

We loved this place. Despina was SO great and the best host! She had anniversary and bday decorations waiting for us with home made treats. The place was beautiful and clean - and the pool was a great mis afternoon treat. Very convenient by taxi to get to anything and we loved the backyard ! We can’t say Enough great things about the host and the place’

We had a fabulous stay here. The villa is lovely, inside and out, with a well equipped kitchen, including food staples and a variety of different seating areas outside. The pool is great and the beach is virtually on the doorstep, with free sunbeds (if you buy at least a drink from the local taverna). In terms of local amenities, there is a small shop and a couple of tavernas within a few minutes walk, plus a small hotel complex, where you can also eat and visit their bar. There are 2 larger supermarkets within a couple of kilometres, for which you would either need a car or taxi, however the hosts were kind enough to ferry us there and back, when we first arrived, which was so helpful. Chania Old Town is beautiful and we travelled there on a couple of occasions by taxi (28E) in the evening, but you can also take a bus which stops near to the villa. Finally, the hosts, Eleni and Thrasyvoulos were lovely, regularly checking in without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

Outstanding views, 5* accommodation with hosts that go above and beyond and can’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Recommendations of local places to eat. If you can, take use of the local chefs to come in and cook for you. Family of 7 cost us €280 as a guide without drinks and was beautiful food. The villa is spacious and relaxing and perfectly placed to walk into plaka and short drive to almyrida beach with beautiful fish tavernas and water activities. Party of 3 boys (15,15 and 12), my husband and I and his parents it was the perfect house to have our own spaces but still come together. The photos do not do the house justice at all. The outdoor kitchen, outside bath and jacuzzi plus all the outdoor terraces to each room are spectacular. Enjoy, you won’t be disappointed. Hope to be back again one day. Beautiful villa in a great location. If your are stunned by the pictures, you sure will be stunned by the villa itself - it is simply a gem. It lies at the top of a hill overlooking Kissamos. If you don’t mind a short, steep walk, you can even reach the town (and a supermarket) per foot. If there is anything to criticize then it is the kitchen equipment - a few more big bowls for salad etc would be great. Ioannis is a great host, super friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back.

Der Gastgeber war immer sehr schnell erreichbar und hat sich um alles gekümmert. Es war das schönste Haus indem ich jemals war. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut und sauber und der Griller war sehr praktisch.

Encore un grand merci à Giorgos et Maria pour leur accueil. Une très grosse tempête de sable du Sahara a tout perturbé le jour de notre arrivée. Nos hôtes ont fait le maximum et même l’impossible pour tout nettoyer et nous permettre de profiter de la villa dans les meilleures conditions. La villa est magnifique. Tout est prévu pour que nous puissions nous détendre et profiter au maximum. Pleins de belles intentions, des produits à disposition permettent de ressentir le confort dès notre arrivée. Stayed as a group of 3x couples and kids of ages ranging from 6mo to 4yr. The villa was perfect. Rare to find a property like this . Stunning views, quiet location, heated pool, swings & slides for the little ones, BBQ for the evenings, building & furnishing quality top notch, and the most responsive and helpful host we've ever experienced for an Airbnb. Thank you Panagoula for making our holiday so enjoyable and easy.

The Airbnb was fantastic, very modern and spacious with an amazing view. The host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and also during our stay. One of the best Villa’s I have ever stayed in, the pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend choosing this for your stay in Greece. Only bad thing is that we had to leave to come back home!

fantastic little find, we had a great stay. the area is nice and quiet with a great view of the sea from the balcony. the hosts ensured we settled in and had enough towels for the pool as well as for showers. having our own private pool was another big win for us! thank you for being great hosts!

Anna und Andreas sind phantastische Gastgeber. Eigentlich halte ich mich mit Bewertungen zurück, aber die Unterkunft und die Gastgeber sind einmalig. Die Location ist einmalig und für eine kleine Gruppe von vier Personen phantastisch. In der Nähe gibt es ein kleines Dorf in dem es neben einem Supermarkt und Bäcker auch eine kleine Taverne gibt. Zum Strand sind es ca. 15 Minuten. Anna und Andreas sind immer erreichbar und geben wertvolle Tips für Ausflüge, Restaurants und alles andere in der Region. Wir werden garantiert noch einmal versuchen in der Villa und den Gastgebern vorbeizuschauen.

Beautiful location providing absolute tranquility. Enjoyed our stay of 11 days from beginning to end. Accommodation was superb, with everything you could ever need. All fixtures and fittings seemed brand new and were immaculately presented. Outside area was spacious and in a word fantastic. Although we had no problems, I feel Vardis would have dealt with anything we would have needed, efficiently and professionally. Vardis came to meet us at check in and was a real pleasure, even carrying in our suitcases. We met his father who came to clean the beautiful swimming pool during our stay and was lovely to meet him.
