I would recommend. The owner being very supportive during the check-in process also invited people to take our luggage for us. Rooms are clean and I would say a great experience overall. Great location though not on the main road but you got monkeys, lake view and tranquility. Walkable distance to great restaurants.

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

My stay was absolutely perfect! The accommodation was exactly as described - clean, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed. The location was ideal, both for exploring and relaxing. The host was incredibly friendly, always available, and made sure I had everything I needed. I can highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. This place is so beautiful! In the jungle, peaceful, lovely dogs around, sounds of nature, no traffic! Rooms are big and spacious! It’s two floors with each a bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. We only used one floor, downstairs! Orcheedas Mum lives next door, she speaks no English which is absolutely fine - we always found our way doing laundry together or whatever we needed! I really recommend this place ☺️

We loved the sound of the sea and appreciated the comfortable beds and airconditioning. The fact that the property is enclosed with space for our toddler to play was convenient. Anke had great recommendations; including for nearby beaches with that was ideal for our toddler. The restaurant on the other side of the beach has great coffee. And I enjoyed the surf lesson provided by local surfing school very much. The spa at the Anantara nearby was excellent. All in all we had a lovely family holiday. There were personal touches and extra treats that were much appreciated.

Die Unterkunft und der garten waren traumhaft. Wir waren gerade am neuen Jahr dort und es wurde zum Frühstück ein traditionelles Frühstück zubereitet. Der garten war riesig, man konnte immer wieder Bindenwarane sehen. In der nähe der Unterkunft war der bekannte Strand in Tangalle und wenn man Nachts Glück hat kann man riesen Schildkröten beobachten wie sie Eier legen. Der Restaurant ist bis um 20:30 offen das Essen war in Ordnung und war eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle Super freundlich. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder für Erholung/Entspannung war das Perfekt für uns.

We stayed in Sujees house for three days. The most beautiful thing is the jungles around. The house is situated in the heart of the forest with the little river just 10 meters away. You can bathe in the river when it is hot outside and have a 1-2 hours walk along it's bank through the jungles. Sujee is very hospital and friendly

Its a great property to stay … There is greenry all around the house… The house is huge and can easily accommodate 6-8 people. The host provided us all the basic amenities required. The pool was also great and the caretaker would come in the morning and clean the pool and garden area everyday.. We could also spot a peacock dancing from our balcony… Would surely recommend
