Trudi’s Terrace lies a steep 250m walk up from the taxi drop- off point. We welcome guests from all around the world to experience the enigma that is the Matterhorn. Trudi’s Terrace has three cosy, comfortable, and stylish bedrooms. We have 2 modern bathrooms. Our kitchen is the heart of our apartment. It’s where we gather to cook, eat and watch Netflix. Note Zermatt is in the middle of a building boom. Unfortunately the view has been temporarily altered with the erection of a crane.

In the upper Valtournenche, at the foot of the Matterhorn, surrounded by herds of grazing cows in summer and white snow in the winter months, my wife Enrica and I will be happy to welcome our guests to our apartment. Close to the towns of Valtournenche and Cervinia (about 3 km) but still isolated from the chaos, it is the ideal place to relax, observe enchanting views, listen to the silence of the mountain, play sports and take fantastic walks starting right from the house!

Our renovated studio is centrally located, 5-10 minutes' walk from Zermatt train station. Climbing the stairs to the house (90 steps) is always worth it, because the accommodation is characterized by a lot of brightness and a view of the village. In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, the apartment is equipped with a bathtub, a cozy sitting area and a 1.80 m bed. A TV with Apple TV box and free Wi-Fi are available, as well as a lockable ski storage room.

Our home, nestled among the trees, rests in peaceful seclusion a couple of kilometers from the nearest village. We are Riccardo, Cristina, Lorenzo, Bianca and Alice. We chose to come here, into the woods, to begin living a simple yet fulfilling life, learning from nature. We offer you an attic loft carefully renovated by Riccardo, with a double bed and a sofa bed (both beneath skylights), a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a wide view over the valley.

Elegant and serene, a Walliser Stadel (traditional Valais-style barn) stands in a small side-street. Used for agricultural purposes over many centuries by our forefathers, it now offers every comfort for regeneration and for a return to the essentials. The house was built after renovating an old barn with a cherry tree in the garden. Today, it has become Casa Vacanze il Ciliegio. Immersed in a large garden, it enjoys a beautiful view of our mountains. In the winter, the sun won't warm your days, but the warmth of the fireplace will make your stay unique.
