Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Centro Storico, Napoli

I had a phantastic workation week in Rosita's and Luigi's apartment. You can tell they actually used to live there. It doesn't feel like a hotel room but an actual lived-in apartment. Original, personal decoration. A well-equipped kitchen. A cozy sleeping space with attached bathroom, very practical if you have to get up at night. :) The balcony is above a crowded street with market stalls selling textiles, fish, fruit & vegetables, and much more. The noise level can be high during the day, with a murmuring of voices and the occasional market cries and singing of songs - which I liked because it made me feel on vacation even while working. And at night it's nice and quiet because there's almost no traffic. The location is extremely convenient. Rosita and Luigi were accommodating when I had to change my stay by one day, and overall very warm and welcoming. I really felt like I was staying in a friend's apartment (see above). Looking forward to coming back. Whole-hearted recommendation.

Good location and very clean apartment.

We had a great stay in this flat on the northern edge of Naples’ historic center. It’s within walking distance to most things and right next to a charming little botanical garden. The apartment is well equipped with everything you might need for a few days in Naples: air conditioning to cool down, two bathrooms and a small balcony with views of the harbor and Mount Vesuvius in the distance. The layout is cozy and unique, with beds on an upper level that adds a nice touch. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen was stocked for those who want to. Roberto lives in the same house and took care of everything and communication was smooth and easy from start to finish. The Sanità neighborhood has a lively, authentic vibe - gritty in parts, full of character, and very much alive. It may feel a bit chaotic at times, but we never felt unsafe. It’s a part of Naples with real soul and everyday life, not polished but very real. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a comfortable base to explore Napoli!

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Anna’s lovely apartment! The space was tastefully decorated and very spacious. Location was also very convenient, merely 2 metro stops from Napoli Centrale. Anna was also extremely helpful and friendly, she gave us a tour of the apartment and even left several snacks and breakfast items! Thank you very much Anna we had a great time 🥰

Maurizio is an incredible host, very flexible, reactive, pro active and above all very kind. All his recommandations were excellent. We kept in touch at all Times from the booking to the last hours of stay to ensure everything went smoothly for us. His appartement is walking distance from the central stations (that takes pretty much anywhere in and outside Naples) and a short walk away from the city center and the city’s most delish adresses. The apartment has all you need, is very comfortable and the AC is a big plus. We had an amazing stay.

The location is very convenient, walking distance to a few attractions, including the main sightseeing bus stop (the blue B line route is picturesque), Via Partenope promenade by the sea, teatro di San Carlo, Galleria Umberto, funiculars to the top, cafes and restaurants, taxi stop. The apartment is very nicely decorated, clean and the kitchen is well-stocked (incl. oil, salt, pepper, spices, coffee, tea, some candy and packaged pastries). Appreciated having cotton rounds and swabs in the bathroom. There’s a mini market next door. The terrace is amazing. The checkin was prompt at 2pm with hosts waiting for us upstairs.

Such a wonderful stay! It was so peaceful and quiet - just beautiful! Emma was amazing from start to finish with communicating and recommending local spots. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone coming to Napoli and wanting to stay outside of the city center :) Thanks again!

The area is very convenient, both when arriving from the station by metro and for getting around on foot in the city, or even for taking the funicular to go up to San Martino. The building is a small condominium to feel at home in a part of Naples not yet dominated by shops and tourist spots. If you want, you can shop at the nearby supermarket. - Check-in worked great. We felt very good!

We were very pleased with the apartment, conveniently located, right in the center. Metro station is 3 minutes away. Baker, butcher, grocery stores nearby. Also restaurants, we have reached almost all the sights on foot. Particularly nice was the terrace, which we used for breakfast and also for a glass of wine in the evening. Communication with Daniela was great, we got immediate feedback. It was relatively quiet at night and also in the house. If we come to Naples again, we will always stay there. Highly recommended.

Flat was spacious and everything is clean. The single bed in the living room is actually very comfortable and aircon was perfectly working. The best thing is washing machine and a hallway can dry them! The bathroom is newly furnished it and it functioned really well!

Enrico is more than a great host. Accommodated our needs for early check in, was very responsive and provided us with a full tour of the accommodation, along with restaurant suggestions and tips for the city. The room is as in the photographs,, extremely clean, spacious and very pleasant. All of the equipment are brand new and even the provided coffee was great. The only challenging aspect was the minor humidity of the place (due to it being in central Naples), however, the air condition made it completely manageable. Thanks Enrico 🙏

We had a great stay (2 people) place was clean and well maintained! We liked the tasteful decoration and colour scheme. We felt safe and secure, a little bit of family noise from the neighbours but nothing that disturbed us. Excellent host, quick responded and helpful! Overall a smooth experience, definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Fantastic stay, book it!! The view from the balcony is the best of anywhere I’ve ever stayed, looks even better than the photos. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and very clean, and Marina was a perfect host. There is an elevator and a washing machine. 10 minute walk from the metro through the Spanish quarter, tons of restaurants, would absolutely stay again.

Paola and her daughter Zelda are very friendly, smiling and very responsive hosts. The accommodation is in a great location for getting to the historic center (5 min from the train station). The terrace is really a plus to relax in peace after visiting Naples.

The apartment with the most beautiful view of Naples. You can see the sea, Capri and Vesuvius. Naples can be a bit overwhelming the first day, but day two is much better. You are right in the center. Shops, pizzerias and coffee bars all around you. The apartment is really a home. And the owners Sal and Ros live downstairs. They are so friendly and helpful. Don't worry, you have your own entrance. If you want to experience the real Naples, book this apartment. We were with our three dogs and they were also very welcome

I loved the place. Stefano's condominium is a great spot to stay in Napoli. Very walkable area and safe, lots of restaurants and things to do.

Giulia was so friendly and very responsive, and the snacks left for us were a welcome treat! The place was exactly as described and perfectly located to walk to all the nearby sites.
