Offering space for up to 10 adults and 2 children, the house is ideal for larger groups who want to enjoy tranquility and a vast variety of activities. What you can expect: Spacious rooms: The house offers a large entrance area, a bright hallway on the ground floor, and a cozy living room equipped with a Swedish stove (wood provided), Smart TV, Bose soundbar, and a collection of classic films for entertaining evenings. A large dining table is available (a high chair is also provided). Fully equipped kitchen: The modern kitchen offer the best of amenities for the hobby chef – fully equipped with all essential utensils like cutlery, dishes, pans, pots, a dishwasher, raclette set, and coffee machine. You will also find a generous pantry with a selection of spices, as well as oil and vinegar. Welcoming bedrooms: On the ground floor, you will find a large bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and a desk, ideal for anyone who needs to work during their stay. On the second floor, there are three more bedrooms, one of which is for children – featuring an Indian teepee, a play loft, and a bed plus a pull-out bed. The other two bedrooms also offer a Double/Queen size bed and a TV. Perfect for a restful night after an exciting day! Bathrooms: You will find three bathrooms in the house, offering privacy for all guests. The ground floor bathroom offers a toilet and shower, with another WC available on the first floor. On the second floor, you will find a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and toilet. Vehicles and bikes: The house offers space for two cars in private parking spaces. For cyclists, there is a large, secure bicycle storage room in the house, and the famous fifth stage of the Black Forest Panorama Cycle Route passes right by the house. Laundry room: A large laundry room with a washing machine/dryer and plenty of space for drying laundry is available on the ground floor. Outdoor relaxation: The large balcony and the even larger terrace offer plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the sun and quality family time. State-of-the-art facilities: The house is equipped with 1000 Mbit internet, so you can work or stream quickly and reliably during your stay. Location: Shopping facilities are only 5 minutes on foot, and both Zurich Airport (30 minutes) and Basel Airport (50 minutes) are conveniently accessible. The apartment is distributed over three levels, and includes two independent bedrooms (one with a balcony of its own), two baths, dining room with kitchen and fireplace, and a double-height living room with rustic beams, an elegant corner fireplace, and a balcony overlooking the lake. The apartment is fully furnished, with usual kitchen accessories, dish-washer, clothes-washer, vacuum cleaner, and TV with DVD/CD player. Upon request, sheets and towels may be furnished for a modest charge. Within meters begins a choice between numerous restaurants, trattorie, wine bars, and ice-cream shops. There is a supermarket within five minutes walk, and a large street market every Sunday morning. Also within five minutes walk is the Embarcadero, where it is possible to take boat excursions to a variety of tourist attractions on Lago Maggiore, both in Italy and Switzerland. Cannobio’s nearby Lido offers sunbathing and swimming, with possibilities of various aquatic sports including courses for wind surf and sailing. Adjacent to the Lido are other non-aquatic sports opportunities such as tennis, volleyball, and rental of bicycles or scooters. 200 meters from the apartment begins the bicycle trail that follows the course of the river Canobino, up the valley to the Orrido di Sant’Anna. The mountains in the Cannobina Valley offer various possibilities for excursions, with a network of well-marked trails connecting rustic stone villages along the valley, and reaching Switzerland on the north and the Parco Nazionale della Valgrande on the south, which is a wilderness area with characteristic plants, animals, and historic memories. The apartment will provide basic information on Cannobio, the Canobina Valley, and its network of trails.
