While it’s close to the city of Lucerne and major tourist attractions such as Engelberg / Mount Titlis, Pilatus and Rigi, the little village of Wirzweli is hidden on a mountain plateau in the middle of the Swiss Alps. The road is offers only limited access during winter months by car. Access all year long by cable car.

Neuenkirch lies smack in the middle of Switzerland. We are based just outside the village and enjoy a gorgeous view of mountains, lush fields and cows. Pure Swissness! The picturesque town of Lucerne is 15 minutes away and you can drive to Interlaken, Bern, Zürich or Basel within an hour. You can get to Engelberg with its spectacular Mount Titlis in 45 minutes, not to mention a number of other major attractions. In the beautiful, mostly fog-free Ybrig and the surrounding area, you will find everything to enjoy your vacation, e.g. skiing in the nearby Hoch-Ybrig and Oberiberg ski resort, cross-country skiing in the neighboring village of Studen-Unteriberg, snowshoeing. Bike and hiking tours, as well as swimming in the indoor pool Unteriberg or the Alpamare in Pfäffikon-Schwyz, which can be reached from us in 30 minutes by car.
