Vacation rentals with breakfast in Central Switzerland

We stayed 2 weeks in Casa Michele. A beautiful and spacious house in a quiet village. A small supermarket is next to the house and has sandwiches and other basic things every day. Around the corner, you can rent a boat via Boat2Go. A few houses away there is a bar/cafe/restaurant and at the lake, which is a few streets away, there is a bar and restaurant. Here we had breakfast, cappuccino and croissant, right on the lake in a beautiful location. From the village, you can do a few nice walks and hikes, from sturdy to heavy. In the house there is everything available such as a coffee machine with coffee, dishwasher, a TV with Netflix, good beds and a washing machine. There was no kettle yet but Michele bought it for us. There is a basic pan set. We cooked a few times ourselves and went out to eat for the rest. Milan and Monza (circuit) can be reached within an hour. Furthermore, the area is very beautiful. We have had a nice time.

Raya's place was terrific. I could not have been more convenient, located right on the river. It was a great spot to stay for Fasnacht! Additionally, Raya was a very responsive and thoughtful host and that made things easy for me.

We really loved getting back home, it was quiet, just like the photos and much more peaceful than the tourist areas. Tricia was the best with her recommendations and adding slight personal touches to the place. It had everything you would need, and the best part it is truly a bed and breakfast, loved meeting Tricia for breakfast and learning so much. If I visit again, which I plan to I would definitely want to stay here.

This bungalow is simply an absolute gem. Every detail in this house is a testament to a lot of love and style. We felt totally comfortable and welcome right away So the hot tub was already heated and ready for us. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, everything is there. Furthermore, the comfortable sofa invites you to cozy evenings and later a very comfortable bed awaits you. Fabienne is a warm host who communicates proactively and is very generous. I'm sure we'll be back!

Dominic and his father are kind, respectful and considerate. We exchanged ideas on where to hike and what to wear even though we are busy. I’m thankful to have the time to stay in the Aeblis’ house. It has everything you need: dishwasher, washer, hot shower and numerous heaters, for the WC to the bedroom. For me I sleep cool, so the heater in the toilet is enough for warmth on most days; sometimes I use my headlights just because I want to “set the mood”. The bed, pillow and blankets are very comfortable. The living room is always toasty due to the floor heating. Windows are modern and you can’t hear the highway noise when shut. If you have lived in a modern hutte like Kesch, then that's what you can expect + stable internet from router. It is also much less “touristy” or crowded on the way there than Valais, i very much appreciate that. Hope to have the chance to swing by again and accomplish routine hikes!

Karin was extremely friendly and answered questions or the like at lightning speed. The apartment is clean and you have everything you need. Even more. Every day fresh rolls or bread were brought to us, there were fresh eggs, jam, butter, milk and coffee. There were even new toothbrushes in the bathroom! All in all, you can say that you could really feel the Swedish hospitality in the Schweden-Kafi and we would love to come back.

Great stay & location !

It was my first time in Switzerland and I was bit hesitant to stay in air bnb. Once I got into the apartment, I was really comfortable. It’s like easy access to all surrounding places. I am happy that I chose the best place to stay in interlaken. I suggest to whoever wants stay around interlaken.

We had booked with breakfast. That was very good and only the finest. Good bread, butter, fresh milk and yogurt. Of course, cheese in one piece in different variations, plus a little ham. There were also three varieties of homemade jam. You can say it wasn't excessive, but high-quality and rich. This is how you start the day well. The apartment with its balcony was wonderfully quiet. You could relax and listen to the stream and nature.

We had a great time at Kilyan's place. The apartment is a real bubble of relaxation. It is very well equipped, impeccably clean, tastefully decorated and well located, it has everything you need nearby. Nothing else to say. Thanks to Kilyan and her mom, they are available and very welcoming.

We had a very nice and relaxing stay at Laura's. The apartment is beautifully and practically furnished. Above all, we liked the tranquility and the view of the greenery. When you open the balcony door, you can hear the stream rushing, which I liked very much. The kitchen is super equipped and the refrigerator is large. There is also a washing machine. On foot you can reach a nice kiosk in Porto Vatalvaglia. There you can swim and have a wonderful view of the lake with drinks. A recommendation is to use the small streets, as there are no sidewalks. Also, a trip to the Cascada della Frodo is wonderful and can be done on foot directly from the apartment. The forest and waterfalls are beautiful. At first, we had trouble finding the apartment, which was because I hadn't read Laura's very good check-in explanation. I recommend reading the explanation and photos before arrival if ☺️you have a good network connection.

Maria was a wonderful host! The place was as described. The Swiss breakfast was great! Nice and quiet even with shared spaces. We hope to come back to Luzern and stay again someday.

Christa’s place is everything you could ask for, for a rural stay. The room is super spacious and bathroom is immaculate, the bed is comfortable and huge!! The breakfast options are perfect with a large variety of things which is a major highlight and always stocked up, Christa also checks what you prefer to ensure it is always there. We loved our stay, she was super helpful with things to do and see as well as train/bus time tables. 100% recommend anyone who wants to stay here, we didn’t have a car and still found a lot of things to do and the local recommends were great. Public transport is super frequent as well as a quick 40 min walk through the countryside to a beautiful lake where you can swim and rent a boat. This definitely made our trip in Switzerland worth while and would definitely come back, on our last day Christa kindly dropped us off at the train station before our departure!

Absolutely stay here if you get the chance. I'd recommend at least three nights for excursions up the (very serious) local mountains and hikes in the area. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast filling, the restaurant delicious, the service excellent, and the surroundings quiet. The building is relatively far from the center of town, so you really get a chance to relax. I’d recommend booking this place over many of the more expensive in-town options. Recommendations for finding the place: Follow Rico and Phillipa’s instructions and the signs! Google Maps would have led me across a non-existent, washed-out trail. Also, one of the paragliding guides recommended the Matterhorn app for more up-to-date information (e.g., what transit is operational and where the sheep are).

Excellent hospitality, Antonella is like feeling at home. Beautiful location, surrounded by nature, ideal for those who want to get away from the chaos of the city. Everything is taken care of in detail, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!!!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was absolutely incredible – both beautiful and convenient. Close to the mountains and the train, it was perfect for hikes as well as just relaxing. The shared breakfast each morning was a lovely touch and gave us the chance to spend time with the other guests, which added a special and energizing start to our days. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend our time. We truly hope to come back!

It’s was great to stay with Regina and her kids.. Lovely people to interact with.. Our room was clean upon arrival and the bathroom is big. The place is close to the metro station yet in a quiet neighbourhood !! Overall it was a great stay..

Isabelle and Cecelia were lovely hosts. They offered suggestions for hikes in the area and included tips on less-touristy routes. Luzern was the first stop of our trip, so they helped us understand the local transportation options. A free city bus pass was provided by Isabelle, which was very convenient for local trips. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Bathrooms were conveniently located right across the hall. Everything was sparkling clean.
