Fazly is truely an exceptional host who went above and beyond throughout our stay. The accomodation was spotless, and those balcony views just stunning. We ate delicious breakfast and dinner made by his wife on the balcony which saved us having to go out. We were really made to feel at home, more than any Airbnb previously visited. 10 out of 10, if you are visiting Kandy look nowhere else.

I stayed at Riverside for 3 weeks and it was a great stay. The apartment is situated a few km out of Kandy in a small village, which is great as you get to experience real Sri Lankan life, I found the villagers very friendly, often stopping to chat to me. The bus to Kandy is just 10 mins walk away. The apartment is lovely, very spacious and with a wonderful large balcony perfect for eating and working. There's an outside plug so you can plug in your laptop. Hiran and family are lovely, Hiran is happy to help with any problems and the breakfast cooked by his wife is delicious and different most days. I'd definitely recommend this apartment and I'd stay again also being a solo woman traveller I felt safe at all times.

We rented this place for 2 weeks and it was amazing. Hosts were really helpful and friendly. Place is very clean and all interior and furnitures were very comfortable. Situated in a very clam place perfect for long holiday with family

Incredibly kind host family. They were always helpful, gave us a ride into town and organized a scooter for us. We used the home stay to explore the Ella region. While Ella is super touristy, the town of the Airbnb is very genuine and we loved the hustle and bustle. It is a separate apartment with a separate entrance. You’ll have everything you need including 2 bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and terrace overlooking the property.

A great apartment within easy walking distance of the lake and temple. The hosts were super friendly, and the accommodation was very clean—we felt right at home and spontaneously extended our stay! Due to the thin Styrofoam gaps at the top of the walls, we occasionally heard some noise from traffic, monkeys, or between our own rooms. That said, we had no issues with mosquitoes or cold air, and we would happily book another stay with Lakmal and his wife!

We really enjoy their it’s more feel like home. We stayed there for two day but it’s very peaceful and beautiful house even we mention this villa on our YouTube channel as well you can check on privitravels my wife love to shoot that place… they are not ready to leave the villa because of that calmness and beauty… thanks to owner he is very nice person who gave his place to experience the beautiful villa in Kandy. We loved the lodge, indoor-outdoor living in nature, such a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, the pool was refreshing and the staff were nice. The night was full of fireflies when we were there and the sounds of the jungle. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Pepper villa is surrounded by a beautiful forest environment and river with wildlife all around. Some insects do find their way inside, we watched dazzling displays by fireflies on some evenings. Dimuthu was an amazing host and showed us around the farm pointing out the different plants and where the best swimming spots were. His parents live in the farmhouse nearby and were very kind and helped us get milk and Kurds from a local farm. There are a couple of small local shops with basic supplies and it's a short bus ride to the nearest town with more shops, cafes and ATMs. We found pepper villa a great place just to relax and well placed for longer excursions by bus, tuk tuk or train.

A great stay in Kandy. About 20 minutes walk from the lake and about 10-15 minutes to the city. Very lovely and nice hosts :) and a super delicious breakfast! For tips in the area, the super nice manager Nimal is on hand and the housekeeper who lives in the house tries to make everything possible to make you feel at home. Thanks very much! Stuti! The apartment is really beautyful, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Located in a very rural neighbourhood, yet really close to Kandy it's a good base for exploring the city. Drivers beware that you need strong nerves to get the car into the Garage on a very steep slope.

Clarence's place is just wonderful! It is very spacious, airy, light, comfy and beautiful. All our family enjoyed staying at Clarence. He is a great host, always responding quick and making the best to please his guests. The other members of Clarence's family must be mentioned too. They all are very polite, friendly and hospitable. The balcony, which better be called a terrace, is huge and the view is stunning. Everything is great, highly recommended for families and people who prefer tranquility over a busy city. To call a taxi we used "pick me" app. It is very cheap and useful.

Very nice place not far from the main road. Appartment was clean, spacious with interesting details. Two rooms with huge beds, big living room with dining table and terrace. Our host was very responsive, waited for our arrival and even woke up very early morning to say goodbye. Outstanding thing i liked the most were ,,jungle sounds'' i enjoyed getting asleep with. I recommend!

The place is very spacious, clean and not to forget the amazing, expansive view. The Garden area is refreshing. The best part of the stay has to be the Host Achala and his lovely family. They made us feel at home, helped us with all our queries, and took care of all our needs. It was an unforgettable stay. Will definitely come back

This was a comfortable home away from home and it is a short walk away from the Dambulla cave temple which is very convenient. It's also easy to get a tuktuk at the corner if you need to go into the town. The amenities all work and are as advertised, very clean and neat. All in all a great place to stay with friendly and helpful hosts.

Beautiful place. A bit older than expected but nice. did not like the installed videocamera that covers the kitchenarea...

Spacious, clean flat with a balcony overlooking the river and some lovely furnishings and art work. Responsive host and lovely caretaker. We especially appreciated the assistance with transport to Kandy from the airport, the solid breakfast, and the late checkout. Within tuk tuk distance but mercifully removed from the hustle and bustle of the city center.
